Power BI Mobile – “An unexpected error occurred” when opening reports from Power BI Report Server
Hello, We are experiencing an intermittent issue with the Power BI Mobile app connected to our on-premises Power BI Report Server. When opening a report in the Power BI Mobile app, the following message sometimes appears: “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.” After pressing “GOT IT”, the report opens and works normally. The issue is intermittent. Sometimes the same report can be opened several times without any error, while opening another report may show the error. After closing and reopening the report, it may work normally without displaying the message again. The same reports work normally through a web browser, and the issue appears to occur only when using the Power BI Mobile app. I will attach screenshots showing the error message. Has anyone experienced the same issue with Power BI Mobile and Power BI Report Server? Is this a known issue, and is there any recommended solution or configuration change? Thank you.Navigate Between Multiple Power BI Report Server Reports Inside Power BI Mobile App
Hello everyone, We are using Power BI Mobile with an on-premises Power BI Report Server. We have multiple Power BI reports, and we would like users to navigate from one report to another using buttons inside the reports. For example: Report 1 → Report 2 → Report 3 Our goal is to keep the navigation inside the Power BI Mobile app. Currently, when we use the normal Power BI Report Server report URL in a button, the link may open through the mobile web browser instead of opening the target report directly inside the Power BI Mobile app. Is there an officially supported way to navigate between different Power BI Report Server reports while staying inside the Power BI Mobile app? For example, is there a supported deep link, URL format, or another navigation method specifically for on-premises Power BI Report Server? Please note that we are using Power BI Report Server (on-premises), not the Power BI Service. Thank you for your help.
Exit from a mobile report
Hi, I'm using the Mobile App to connect to a PBI Report Server on premises. I don't see a possibility to exit from a report. When connecting to the Service, there is a little arrow that opens a navigation list. When connecting to the RS on prem, this arrow is missing. The only way to exit is to shut down the app or to use the back button several / many times (since this navigates through the whole page history until it exits the app. Is it a bug or a feature that this navigation list is missing? ( in case someone wants to suggest the Mobile Apps subforum: I tried it already, and I found the same question from someone, posted 2019 - in both cases someone answered that there should be the arrow opening the navigation list, but it is not there ... https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/Navigate-back-to-start-exit-a-report/td-p/2100794 https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/power-bi-mobile-app-exit-button-from-the-report/m-p/869497#M5218 ) Thanks and Regards Michael
