PBI Metrics shutting down occasionally
A colleague of mine experiences a bug in the usage of Metrics. When he tries to do a new check-in Power BI suddenly shuts down. We tried to capture this in the video below. Is this something you are familiar with? Is there a solution for this problem? 2026-09-16_17-03-57.mp4
PowerBi Metrics - Tracking in reports
Hi, I was hoping somebody might be able to help. I have created scorecards/metrics pulling data from Jan - Dec 23 and have added them to a PBi report. What I would like to know is how do I get the data to display from the start of the year? Right now on my metric visual it is only showing current month and I cannot see anywhere to change this to show year. Please note I am not working on desktop. Thanks.
Help needed regarding Power BI Metrics - Pulling Historical Data
Hello all, I'm trying to pull in historical data in my scorecard / metric by making a connection to a visual as shown in the picture below. Power BI Scorecard The visual I want to connect to: The visual above is about the percentage of the hours the employer was in a meeting. The measure for this is as follows: [Total hours in meeting]/[Total registered hours] When I connect the metric to the visual, it doesn't pull in the historical data. When I change the input of the visual from Month to Date (Datum), I can pull the historical data. But this way I don't have the desired visual I want to use. (See picture below) This visual shows the measure on daily basis. I need to have this on a monthly basis. Is there a way to pull in the data per month into Power BI Metrics? Is there a way to adjust the measure in such way, it shows [Total hours in meeting]/[Total registered hours] only at the end of each month? With kind regards, LazzaNova
