Calculate fitlered values for measures
Hello Community, I am currently trying to calculate a percentage of opportunities with the Engagement Status ACTION. So my final calculation should be opportunities with action divided by overall count of opportunities. The engagement status is a measure and can not be included as a filter in Quick Measures. My Power BI skills are weak and I`d very much appreciate any input. Thanks 🙂
Count Of Values in New Measure Field from Two Tables
Hello, I need to create a New Measure filed to list count of No error Projects with Monthly basis. I am having two Table, 1. Version Table 2. QC Error Table. Schema for Version Table is: [Id] ,[Project Name] ,[Project_ID] ,[Version] ,[Type] ,[Active] and Schema for QC error Table is: [ID] ,[Staff] ,[Project_ID] ,[Version_ID] ,[Type Of Error] for getting the above , I Used following SQL query and created a New views in SQL DB. SELECT V.[Project Name], COUNT(Q.Project) AS [Count of Version ID], V.[Project ID at SMA], V.[Final Completion Date] V.Id AS [Version ID] FROM dbo.[QC Errors] AS Q RIGHT OUTER JOIN dbo.[Version Table] AS V ON Q.Version = V.Id AND Q.[Type Of Error] = N'Error, Customer Reported' GROUP BY V.[Project Name], V.[Project ID at SMA], V.[Final Completion Date] i got the query of Output as below Project ID Count of Version ID Project1 25 Project2 0 Project3 2 Project4 0 its shows the all Project with count of versionID available in QC error Table, If Version ID is Not available it shows the ZERO Value. i need to get only the zero Error Projects from this View (i need the project name which are having no error) in Power BI. then i import this view to Power BI and i filter the value with Monthly Basis (Using Final Completion Date filed ) and error count = 0 but i am getting same value in all rows. Hi all Currently i have a survey that runs annualy. At the moment i have the values as % of grand total. I wish to have a % of year total instead. Is there a way to do this through a measure? I have three data points: All Centers which is the total number of cases Status which is one of 6 options but I am working with Open Report Dates (which are all the first of the month. I created a measure to get the date of the previous month which is working fine, but when I try and get the Open cases it is returning 0 and not the value of all centers. My narrative for the most recent month is: Which while throwing an error for multiple columns is in fact giving me the right total. When I try a similar narrative for my PrevMonth measure I get 0. If I replace PrevMonth with 02/01/2023 I get the correct total of 87,193 but need this to be dynamic without having to change that all the time. What am I doing wrong or should (and how would I) create a calculated table or measure first and use that in the narrative. Thanks.
