We're getting errors using parameters in the datasource together with Direct Query in the May 2020 update. Even if we just connect to one SQL Server table with parameters for server and database, after we close and apply we get the error: 'Connecting to tables from more than one database is not supported with Direct Query'. In the Power Query editor the table is shown correctly (also after refresh) and with hardcoded server and database everything works fine, as well as in import mode using parameters. We've used parameters in the datasource substantially in production so we're hesitant to deploy the May 2020 update. Anyone an idea? Martin2KViews0likes5CommentsRefresh error. Log shows .NET issues
We have a reports which refresh worked well on PBRS january 2020 version. After the may 2020 update, it stopped to refresh. The log error message says: |Error Processing Data Model Refresh: SessionId: xx, Status: Error Failed to refresh the model, Exception Microsoft.AnalysisServices.OperationException: Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'This feature requires installing a newer version of the .NET framework. To use it, you must install at least 'Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5': https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=528259. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. We run it on a Windows 2012 Server with .Net 4.8. The report refrehs flawless on the PB Desktop. Any hint?4.1KViews1like5CommentsUnable to Upgrade Developer Edition 2019 Sep -> May 2020

Hello all. After updating Report Server and Desktop Client (RS), reports with custom visuals are constantly requesting sign-in and the visuals display no data. Am aware of another thread on this, but the solution given(downgrade) is not satisfactory. Can anyone confirm if this is, in fact, a bug ? Kind regards, Manuel Pereira4.2KViews2likes11Comments
