Unable to Publish Report to power bi service by team mates
I have a premium liscense in my workspace at times my team mates publish thier reports but now for some user whom i have given permissions it is now allowing them anymore to publish their reports to my workspace the below is the error that is shown It states that only users with certain power bi liscense can publish to my workspace when my teammates who i added as contributors in my workspace They tried downloading and reinstalling thier desktop still issue has not resolved Session ID 5dfe84aa-f15c-4e1c-822f-dbe4058b6137 Client version 2.128.1380.0

Fabric Licence Billing hours
Hello all, if my company would get a F64 fabric license, we could use the free viewer model and the capacity is billed after running hours. But I was wondering how the running hours for the capacity are calculated? I would assume the capacity is running when a pipeline job is running or a report is updating, but is it also running when somebody views a report? Or is it always running, when there are reports in the workspace? Thanks in advance

Question about Report Server under SQL Server Enterprise with SA
We have a number of servers licensed for SQL Server Enterprise with SA and would like to run PBI Report Server. Does this PBIRS have to be installed on a server that is licensed or can we install the Report Server on a separate app server with the RS database on a SQL server that is covered by SQL Enterprise with SA? Is there any clear documentation on this? Thanks

How to license on-premise power bi server with few users?
Hi, i am very confused with all the possible combinations of licensing the power. here is our scenario please let me know how can be done with minimal cost: 1) using power bi server locally with our SQL server 2) 2 developers to design and publish reports 3) 10-30 users to login using thier domain accounts and view reports while the stored procedures will get user id (domain account) as a filter for the data returned. thanks

POWER BI REPORT SERVER LICENSING AND INSTALLATION
Hi. We want to install Power BI Report Server in our company. We have one SQL Server Enterprise Edition (8 cores) with Software Assurance; therefore we meet the requirements needed. My question is: do we need to install Power BI Report Server in the same server where we have our SQL Server Enterprise Edition? Or, are we allowed to use the key in a different server? If this is possible, does the "other" server has to have the same number of cores or it does not matter? Thanks!

Do I Need Power BI pro license for On premises users to publish report locally ?
We have a capacity licenses P1 and we need to know, do we have needs Power BI Pro licenses to publish .pbix on Report Server on Premise to all users who are publisher or content managers? Actually we put the Power BI Server Key that provide at Capacity Setting, do we need anything else?

Report Server functionalities and licenses
Hi there, I would have the following questions regarding Power BI Report Server: 1. Would a Power BI Premium license make sense with PBI RS? I mean, the insights for advance AI would be available for the user besides being in RS? Or does only Power BI Pro make sense in a PBI RS environment just to publish the reports on the server? 2. Regarding the following link (see column "Power BI Report Server") it says "No" to "R scripts and visual" and "Python scripts and visuals". Besides that, on the Power BI Desktop edition for RS, there are available both icons, whereas on the "Notes" column, it says "you can't save Power BI reports with Python scripts or visuals to Power BI Report Server". Does this mean that you can use it meanwhile you are in the Desktop but the functionality does not exist on the server? 3. I would be interested in machine learning/AI capabilities in PB RS. I would be grateful if anyone can provide any advice. Thanks in advance and hope my questions make sense

license package for Users who can see reports and license package for capacity
Can Someone help me with it ? I try to avoide misunderstanding about Lisence cost. If I use Power BI Server (not cloud) and I want to share my dashbords to unlimited users and if i want to have big capacity, What kind of Premium license Do I need ? per user or per capacity. May be this is a dumb question . however I need answer if anyone has already experince with it . Thank you again.

Hi, Dear. What license do I need to purchase to provide cloud dashboards to all my Microsoft 365 users in reading mode? Do I need the Server license? Do all users need a Power BI license for this view permission? The number of users who initially need edit access to the Power BI Dashboard is 3. Thanks!

Requirements to share dashboards and reports from 0
The company I work for wants to create and share dashboards with clients and also is needed to have dinamyc row level security so they can only see their own information, looking for solutions there isn't a clear guide or tutorial that mentions what would be needed to do this, so what I wanted to know is: - Do I need only power BI pro? ( I dont see any way to create groups without external license ex, office 365 or azure). - If I need azure accounts or office 365 how many do I need? (1 for each person that is going to create the dashboard, or is needed an external license for each client so they can view the dashboards plus the power BI license). - Wich would be the best aproach to create dashboards and share it with clients so they can only see their information? I read that office 365 comes with a power BI pro license but I dont know if I need one for each clients so, if I have 1000 clients I need 1000 license? - I also see that there is a option for sharing with external user, this option let me filter the information that clients can see? My end goal is to tell my superiors how many license and wich one are necesary to been able to make this reports.
