kpi matrix
4 TopicsRename values in a measure and use it as a row in matrix
Hello, I work on Power BI with Direct DB Connexion. I wanted to just rename values contaned in a column, and display it in a matrix as a row. For a translation for example. SPA = If selectedvalue(ENG)= "Flower", "Flores In a table, it works: ENG | SPA | Number Flowers | Flores | 18 But it does not allow me to use SPA as a row in a matrix. Can I get it to work somehow?Solved1.4KViews0likes4CommentsValue shown as dots within matrix style visualisation
Hi I have recently come across a lovely visualisation on a website that has been embedded with a Tableau visualisation: Covid:WIRED - What Works Wellbeing It is using a dot visualisation within a matrix style layout, whereby each dot is the value of 1, but each dot is then conditionally formatted depending on another value (in this example, outcome type). What is awesome is that when you hover over the dots, you get a tooltip advising of the information relating to the study in question, which is so smart! I think this looks beautiful and would be amazing if this was implimented in Power BI. Is this something that could be looked into? Maybe there is a 3rd party visualisation available that achieves this? Thanks4KViews4likes1CommentPower KPI Matrix formatting lost on data update
I'm having an issue where my custom formatting is lost when I get new data. I have a SQL datasource that is formatted to the template and a couple stored procedures that pull in new data daily. I have 12 KPIs on a page and half have custom formatting other than a 1 decimal percentage, but when the new data comes all formatting is reverted back to a 1 decimal percentage. I do have a column stored where I could drop in the type of formatting I want, but that doesn't appear to be an option. This has been happening for a while and everytime Management wants to view the report I need to manually change the formatting back. Also we're on version 3.1.1.0. Thanks1KViews0likes0Comments
