For my own interest I wondered if I have a Dashbord Published for people to use in the browser through the reporting server, and this dashboard has RLS implemented, meaning that there are a few roles where users are assigned to. This is working all fine and the users only see information they should. If I update the dashboard because of certain changes like a new graphic, and publish this new version under the same name etc. so that the link itself does not change for users, do I also need to re-assign each user to their role, or will this automatically be taken over? Thanks for any answers!959Views0likes2CommentsDatasource setting in Power BI service: Keyword not supported: 'user id'
Hi All, We have a Power BI report developed using Direct query mode. Everything works fine in Power BI desktop. But when we upload it to the Power BI report server and tried to set the datasouce for the report, the following error appear: We are 100% sure that the credential entered was correct. This happened after we update our report server to May 2020 version. Did anyone encouter this issue before? Do you have any idea how to resolve this? Thank you830Views0likes1Comment
