The key advantages of DP-700 / Microsoft Fabric are: 1) Unified Architecture: Replaces scattered tools (ADF, Synapse, Storage Accounts) with OneLake-a single platform for storage, compute, and analytics. 2) Direct Lake Integration: Serves massive datasets directly to Power BI without duplicating data or waiting for slow import refreshes. 3) Multi-Engine Power: Lets you process data using your preferred engine-PySpark, Spark SQL, T-SQL, or KQL-on the same underlying Delta tables. 4) SaaS Simplicity: Eliminates cluster management and complex infrastructure setups; everything runs on shared, manageable Capacity Units (CUs). 5) Enterprise Security & Governance: Centralizes Row-Level Security (RLS), sensitivity labels, and Purview governance across all data pipelines and reports. 6) High Market Demand: Validates expertise in Microsoft's flagship modern data platform as enterprises transition away from legacy stacks.38Views0likes0CommentsRequest for DP-900 Certification Voucher - University Student
Hello Fabric Community, I hope you are doing well! I am a university student currently pursuing my studies in Computer Science / Software Engineering. I am very passionate about cloud technologies and data analytics, and I am actively working on enhancing my technical skills. I am preparing to take the Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) exam to formally validate my foundational knowledge in data concepts and Microsoft cloud data services. As a student, earning this certification would be a huge milestone for my learning journey and future career. I would be immensely grateful if anyone could guide me on how to obtain a discount voucher for the DP-900 exam, or if the community team/members have any active student voucher programs available. I am currently a vendor in the Microsoft Fabric Data Activator team. My contract is ending, I would like to continue my adventure with Fabric, but I have not been able to find a new job for 2 months. I passed DP-600 and DP-700, but I only have practical experience with Real-time data, Kusto and ADX, meanwhile most companies are looking for people to migrate data on-prem and they reject me, saying that I have no experience in ETL. Any advice from you where to look for a job with RTI data? I am from Poland. Here is my linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/beluch/2.5KViews0likes2CommentsReordering Column in Power BI Matrix Visual

Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue with refreshing my Power BI dataset connected to a CSV file stored in Azure Blob Storage. Here's the situation: I successfully uploaded the CSV file to Azure Blob Storage. I connected the CSV file to my Power BI report without any issues. However, I cannot refresh the dataset manually, and the "Scheduled Refresh" option is greyed out. When I attempt to refresh the dataset, I receive the following error: Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh. Cluster URI: WABI-CANADA-CENTRAL-B-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net Activity ID: cc5b8fd2-b7da-8921-3f46-47cb97499fb3 Request ID: 5489aa43-a6a2-c214-3ec1-2c251d4a93ff Time: 2025-03-23 14:09:34Z I've tried checking the dataset settings page, but I don't see any place to add or update credentials for the Azure Blob Storage connection. Has anyone else encountered this issue? How can I resolve the credential problem and enable scheduled refresh for my dataset? Thanks in advance for your help!1.3KViews0likes1Comment
