2 TopicsAuthenticating the ODBC Hive source for scheduled refresh
Hello @, I've successfully created an ODBC connection for Hive data and was able to load the table without any issues. However, upon uploading it to the report server and attempting to authenticate the ODBC source using basic, Windows, or anonymous methods, none of them seem to work. The test connection fails consistently. "Couldn't connect The report server couldn't connect to the data source using the information you entered. Make sure you've entered the connection string and any credentials correctly. Hide error details Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct." The same credentials work for the data source of Folder type. After scheduling a refresh, I encountered the following error message: SessionID: 68ef0a40-21ca-4c2f-b9ea-86e55ad7e9c9 [0] -1055784932: The credentials provided for the Odbc source are invalid. (Source at dsn=URSAMajorUAT.). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Could you please advise on what steps should be taken in such a case? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you1.4KViews0likes5CommentsODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Hortonworks] connect to Hive
