Displaying a Row as Fixed, when it's value needs to be manipilated
*I have trouble converting the data type of Column Amount in Source ABC to Decial/Numbers for this tutorial(help needed), see data source:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VZJv8sPPYPcLiRKyO1fkEqbcsX-dz10P/view?usp=sharing . PBIX:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wfjbLI7nBLQU5-Qs5rGHOL2XP4uc0UR9/view?usp=sharing I am trying to include rows in a Dax calculation from a mapping table(Pivot) to a fact table(ABC). The DAX is going to look at specific rows and bring those forward. The big issue is some rows are not present in the Fact table. I also need those rows to be displayed but their values to be manipulated. Good Afternoon, I am building a new version of a Dashboard in OnPremises Remote Server (PBIX File). It had originally been developed in the previous Desktop version. I am using the following SPC (Dev) Chart: Id: PBISPC_DEV Version: 1.4.4.20 In the previous Desktop version, a graph appears as this: But when I copy the exact graph into the new PBIX File (OnPremises Remote Server), it comes up virtually as a blank (in spite of all Tables and Measures being migrated over): Kindly Advise.Migrating Pages from one PBIX file (Desktop) to another (Onpremises Remote Server)
Good Morning, I am building a new version of a dashboard (into Onpremises Remote Server Version: 2.150.1926.0 64-bit (January 2026) from a version previously created in Desktop 2.145.1105.0 64-bit (July 2025)). There are over 30 tables and over 15 pages in the existing dashboard. I am moving across the Tables (to the new PBIX file) and creating the relationships between them manually. I considered it better to make the effort to manually join the tables in Model View - rather than autodetect - so that I know exactly what Table is linked with which Table (and upon what fields). Or would autodetect have been preferable ? Now the main issue is copying the 15-ish pages (with the plethora of visuals contained within these !) to the new PBIX file, especially that several of them contain Overlays (with buttons allowing different views of the data to be presented). So such pages may have many Visuals contained which are hidden - dependant on which view button has been invoked. For example: Kindly advise if there is an efficient way to move across the pages. Hi, I am trying to find a correct and efficient way to copy the Field Parameters from an existing PIBX (in Desktop 2.145 64-bit, July 2025) to a new empty PBIX file (in Onpremises-Remote Server). In the Onpremises-Remote Server version, one cannot use the Tabular Editor tool. Also, I am unable to see the Field Parameters in Transform Data, of the already-completed Desktop version (from where I could copy them over to the new PBIX of Onpremises (Remote Server) version). It is only showing the Tables themselves: Kindly advise how I can copy over the Field Parameters. Regards
Previous Year Measure for Line Chart
Hello. I am trying to create a YOY cumulative active customer by month line chart. The line should show the number of customers who made at least one purchase. One for Selected Year and another for Selected Year - 1. And, the total is rolling, so the line should be going up over time. Because there is a year filter in play, I am having difficulties writing a measure that provides a PY Active Customer line for the line chart. If I have 2026 selected, previous years' active customers is reduced. So, I have to removefilter the Calendar. However, this causes the PY active customer line ignore the month on the X axis resulting in a flat total line. Please help me write a measure that accurately calculates PY active customers and still works in a line chart. Should look something like this: Sample file here. Good Afternoon, I am creating a new version of an existing Dashboard (currently in Version: 2.145.1105.0 64-bit, July 2025) to the On-premises Remote Server one (Version: 2.150.1926.0 64-bit, January 2026). I have a couple of issues already: 1) One of the Tables is a Dates Table - I have copied exactly the correct formula in, but I am getting a error "a circular dependency was detected". 2) Model View - its only showing one table which ironically is the error-giving Dates Table, while none of the other Tables (which are actually all fine) are not showing at all: Kindly advise.
