sh, repScheduled data refresh on Google Analytics on Server (on-premise)
I want to refresh my google analytics' data on the server (on-premise) and schedule it (not manually) but I get this error. I have founded this: "Not all Power BI Reports can have a scheduled refresh plan created on them. If data source can be connected using only OAuth (e.g. Facebook, Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.), then cache refresh plan cannot be created. At the moment, RS does not support OAuth authentication for any data source whether it is for paginated, mobile or Power BI reports." So does anyone know any other solutions? (Maybe using Flow or anything else?)
refreshing a PBIX file through powershell/any other method.
Hi Everyone, I wanted to ask if it is possible to refresh a PBIX file( in an automated way like power shell script or something). I have a report that uses google analytics data as source. the report needs to be placed at Power BI report server(So can't use the Google analytics content pack) which does not handle scheduled refresh for google analytics data source yet. I am also looking into ways of using google analytics data source in an excel file. Hi, Our environment is Power BI on premise, we are using Power BI desktop August 2018 Coupled with the similarily dated Report Server Component. There is no on-line component and as such no gateways of any kind we are on-premise only. I have two questions: 1. Is it possible to schedule refresh a Power BI report that you have deployed to the on-premise Report Server. At a cursory glance it appears to tell ou that you cannot, however I wonder if there are any ways around this. 2. If the data cannot be refreshed on a schedule Does pressing the "Refresh" button in the Report server browser portal actually refresh the data from Google analytics.. It kinda is hard to tell.
