gateway issue - cluster setup
Hello, For a long time, our Power BI gateway server has run without any issues. We recently added a second server to run in parallel with it. Installation was straightforward, and the new server is now part of the gateway cluster alongside the existing one. During testing, we found that the new server cannot access Microsoft SharePoint locations and returns a timeout error. The only notable difference between the two servers is that the new one is hosted in a different data center. Network tests confirm that the server can reach SharePoint without any problems at the network level. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Can't connect to Oracle 19 through on prem gateway
We have the 3000.89.6 version of the on prem gateway and are trying to connect to oracle using the 64bit 19.3 ODAC and get the following message when trying to add the datasource. The provider being used is deprecated: 'System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater.' We have followed the instructions in the git at Oracle ODAC 18 is supported with additional steps · Issue #2147 · MicrosoftDocs/powerbi-docs · GitHub and made sure there was no space between the colon in the .NET version. Any help would be appreciated. We are able to successfully connect from Power BI Desktop installed on the gateway server. The OS is x64, the gateway services should be x64 as well, correct?
Unable to load Oracle data to a paginated report - failed to create windows identity for user
I have a paginated report that loads data from an Oracle DB. It works fine on the Report Builder app on my desktop, but when run in the service it returns the following error. The data source works fine for Power BI reports; paginated reports that use SQL Server data work perfectly, so it appears to be something on the gateway retrieving data for Report Server ? Could not connect to the data source. A data source used by this report returned an error. If you continue to experience this error contract the report author or data source owner quoting: DM_GWPipelineGatewayImpersonationError. Failed to create windows identity for user [email protected]

Error while refreshing through gateway
Hi I'm getting this error massage everytime I refresh through the gateway. Refreshing using PBI Desktop is working fine... We noticed that these errors are on tables that contain a 'Merged Queries' as a step on the APPLIED STEPS on PBI, and when we removed these steps it started to complete the refresh through the gateway. Any idea on what can be done to solve it?
