Hi, We are using SSRS APIs to create refresh plan schedule for PBIX report on PBI report server. And we get the last run status but it does not return details. Data Refresh failed, contact the administrator, SessionId: dd13d7bf-56ef-4eed-865a-de6f67d3a50e. We do have the session ID and if we search for it in report server logs then we find the details. Also we can see details if we go to refresh plan details on report server UI. Details in SSRS log: Data Refresh failed, contact the administrator, SessionId: dd13d7bf-56ef-4eed-865a-de6f67d3a50e. Details in refresh plan UI: But we want to show this info on our web application. We already tried searching report server DB (tables, executionlog views, etc) for these details but did not find any thing. Where can we find these information/details other than reporting services logs? Any API or DB table?1.4KViews0likes2CommentsCannot refresh a Power BI Report
We are running Power BI Report Server (January 2022). We have a Power BI report where the data source is a DB2 database. It imports approximately 5 GB of data. This report has been uploaded to our Power BI Report Server development environment. We set up the data source with Basic Authentication and it connects successfully. We then set up a scheduled refresh and it runs for 10 minutes and then fails with this error: Data source error: Login failed for data source [0] -33333333333: DataSource.Error: Microsoft Db2 Client: Processing was cancelled due to an interrupt. SQLSTATE=57014 SQLCODE=-952. DataSourceKind = DB2. DataSourcePath = BD33333;MyDB. Message = Processing was cancelled due to an interrupt. SQLSTATE=57014 SQLCODE=-952. ErrorCode = 0. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. I increased the query timeout value from 1800 to 3600 seconds and it still fails. Please let me know what solutions are available to get this data refresh to finish successfully.Solved4.3KViews0likes5CommentsReport Builder subscriptions - Failure writing file
Hello Everyone, In our company we are using Report Builder to create report that its subscrubied to others as an Excel file. We are having problem when trying to run the subscription. Here is the error: And here is the configuration: The user that created the subscription is the same as the one that will save the file in shared location. Its an admin user so it has access to the folder and of course it has access to write data in the folder. Shared location is on the localhost where the Report Server is installed. The user is also an Active DIrectory User not local server user. When trying to run the subscripition we can see that in the mentioned error PBRS does not mention any user in the quote sings. Do we need to set up some more priviliges for this user? If yes then where? Is there a place where we can see more logs about this error? I hope someone will help us with this problem 🙂 Greetings to you all.755Views0likes0CommentsRefresh Failure - Invalid Connection Credentials
Two of my larger datasets are all of a sudden failing to refresh via the automatic refresh schedule on the service. The top line of the email failure message states "Invalid Connection Credentials" however, the detail of the email message states "internal service error/transient issue". Where should I start to diagnois this problem? When I originally published this data set and scheduled the refresh, I was not having this issue. Thank you! Invalid connection credentials. Refresh failed: xxxxxxxxxxx has failed to refresh. Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. Next refresh for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is scheduled for August 26, 2020 11:00 UTC.1.5KViews0likes2CommentsPower BI On-premises data gateway install failed
