Allow external users access to Reports one Report Server
My firm uses PowerBI Report Server. I haven't seen any updates on this so I'm thinking no, but want to confirm: Are external users allowed to access reports on the Report Server without being on premisis (with RLS) Can we embed powerbi reports (via iframe) within our secured website that that clients can log in to (again with RLS maintained)? Hi, I've been attempting to enable 2 of my power bi report servers to be externally accessed by following this https://greigmitchell.co.uk/2016/08/enable-ssl-on-sql-server-reporting-services-with-a-wildcard-certificate/ blog. One of the two report servers is experiencing an issue once HTTPS is enabled and that is the Power BI Reports are unaccessible and it comes up with an "An Error Has Occured" when trying to view power bi reports but the normal SSRS reports work fine as expected. The only issue in the console log i can see is that there is an "unauthorised" attempt when trying to pull back this "Manifest.json" file except that there is very little other details of what it could be. I have a requirement on a project that prohibits us from using the Power BI cloud service, but we still need to be able to support users within our organization and our external clients. Would i look towards multiple instances of PBiRS (One for Internal, n for External) with varying security methods (AD for internal and another method for external)? I feel like this is the right choice but i haven't seen much in terms of documantation on this, so i wanted to ask around before setting down any path.
