Ordering a Table from different Datasets
Hello, This has me quite stumped on how to make this possible, but I am going to do my very best at explaining what I am trying to achieve. Dataset P6: Name Status Henry P6: Last Update Dataset P5: Name Status Jill P5: Almost Last Update Jack P5: Almost Last Update Dataset P4: Name Status Dataset P3: Name Status Peter P3: Almost First Update Andrew P3: Almost First Update Casey P3: Almost First Update Dataset P2: Name Status Ryan P2: Near First Update GOAL: Create a table that counts all the rows and puts the Name's in order based off Status without showing the status, and adding the row number before each name, while also adding the word UPDATE after each name. It should also check all datasets, and if blank move on to the next dataset. 1. Henry UPDATE 2. Jill UPDATE 3. Jack UPDATE 4. Peter UPDATE 5. Andrew UPDATE 6. Casey UPDATE 7. Hello, I am trying to find the 1Q Percentile for a set of numbers I have coming from SQL. For example say the numbers are: 0, 2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 8, 7, 10 I would expect the 25th percentile to be 2. Reprt builder expression for calculation based on distinct values in a column
Hi, I have a power BI report builder which has duplicated rows (column A) as below. I need to calculate sum of column B based on unique values in column A. Please let me know the report builder expression. Column A Column B PartA 150 PartB 100 PartA 150 PartB 100 PartC 200 PartC 200 I need the expression which would calculate sum of PartA + PartB + PartC = 150+100+200 = 450 Thanks to assist. Is it possible to add an extra parameters for a certain expression? If paramer a = 10 then show parametr b, else no parameter b for instance if I have a userid like '%company.com' then I have extra parameter to select department (this is for managment), but if someone from the department logs in ''%company.hr.com, he already sees his data (this I have and it works).607Views0likes1Comment
Report Builder Data Set Query Designer Date Filter Expression
Hi, In the report builder I am using the Query Designer to build tables. But I can't figure out the "filter expression" to show anything created after 5/1/2020. I've tried normal DAX expressions but I keep getting errors(I'm new at them so I could have gotten them wrong). I have been using "Contains" under the field "Operator" and tried using excel forumals <5/1/2020. Im just not getting it right. Any help would be appreciated. Side question.
