Issue when exporting data from a matrix
Hello all, I have the issue that when I create a measure to be shown at a certain level of the matrix, other than the very first level, I am able to export that data column and view it along with the others. The problem comes when I try to create a similar measure but that will be shown only at the very first level of the matrix, and not the rest, export data shows for that column as blank. So I've tried different approaches of creating the measure, but none of them seem to work if the measure appears at the very first level of the matrix, but it does work when exporting for other sublevels. Any facing this issue before, PFA the image to see better with sample data. Thank you in advance for your help.
Button to Export Date
Today the end user can export data from a visual by clicking on the elipse and selecting Export data. I would love to be able to add a button that would do the same thing. Can you create a button to Export Data? Letting the user do it on the spot would be better than using a Power Automate flow. A flow that exports to Excel uses Apply to Each which is slow. I created a flow that exports the data to a CSV file in SharePoint but Power Automate doesn't offer an action to open a SharePoint file. In PowerBI I added a separate button to open the URL of the folder (Action->Type: Web URL). Opening the CSV file's URL causes it to be downloaded. I don't want to train end users to find the downloaded file so I open the parent folder instead.
Export Data: Data with current layoutIs
I need help getting the export option Data with current layout to be available for end users when I publish my report in the production server. Is it still available? I have changed the report settings but have not been successful. I am using a Table. I appreciate any information provided.
Export Report to Excel with one employee per tab
Hello - I am building the paginated report in the screenshot below. I want to be able to export it to Excel where the text boxes and all three tables export to one tab in Excel. I also need to loop through several employees and create one tab per employee in the same Excel file. Looking for help on how to loop through a list of employees and create a tab for each. Thank you!
Cannot Export Data to Excel on a table visual published on a report on Power BI online server
I am trying to find the menu that pops up when you hover over a visual that lets you click on the 3 ellipses to then Export data. It is popping up on every visual except for my table visuals on a report I have published on the Power BI online server in one of my team's workspaces. It is strange because I have a different report published in this workspace where it allows me to export the data of a table visual, but this report doesn't even show me those 3 ellipses. I've checked my report settings and even tested with a user who has build permission and we still cannot see the 3 ellipses to export the data from a table visual.
Export more than 150k rows from power bi report server to excel
Hwl The maximum number of rows that can be exported to .xlsx when in the Power BI service is 150,000 for Pro users but i want to export more than 150,000. Is there any alternate way to export more than 150,000 rows and how can i export it? Your response will be highly appreciated.
