Power BI paginated report taking 3 hrs to open the excel report
Hi, I am new to power bi report builder. I have developed the paginated report using power bi report builder which loads 7Lac records . It takes 20 minutes to export the data into excel report. However it takes 3 hours to open the same in excel file. To remediate this I have removed the all formatting options like fonts,colour,size,etc Downloaded excel file size is 95MB. Please provide any solution to open excel file within a minute. Any quick reply is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Is there a way to pass built-in Global fields to the dataset query of paginated reports
Is there a way to pass built-in Global fields such as Globals!RenderFormat.IsInteractive to the dataset query in Power BI paginated reports? Use case: Report Builder is connected to Power BI semantic model. The report has more than 1 million rows so, Power BI is running into memory error every time the report is opened. So, I want to show only to 1000 rows when viewed in web but load the entire data if exported as EXCEL or CSV. I have tried constructing dynamic query using the expression of the dataset query. However, that throws a runtime error "The 'CommandText' expression for the query 'ShippedReport' refers to the global variable RenderFormat, which is not valid for this type of report item expression."

Export matrix visual with current layout and data in PBIRS
Hi All, i understand that it is a restriction for PBIRS. Is there any good 3rd party visual can be used in PBIRS and export the data with current layout? i have tried some visuals, but they did not meet my needs. some matrix have performance issue and some lack of export functions. BTW, the original of Matrix in power bi desktop is perfect enough for me. both performance and functions.

Possible to export underlying data even when disabled
Hello everyone, The author of a report published on a Power BI Report Server has deactivated the export of the underlying data. This is correctly marked in the report. However, I can select this option and even export to Excel. We tested it with both Publisher and Browser role for the accessing user. Why is this possible? Power BI Report Server: Version1.18.8683.7488(September 2023) Power BI Desktop: Version: 2.117.984.0 32-bit (Mai 2023) Thanks!

Blank Excel document on Export from PBI viz
HI there. I have read the posted articles regarding this topic but none of the troubleshooting tips have worked. I'm exporting from a report, one of the visuals and the Excel/CSV is blank. I have tried several things to remedy. - Different browsers - settings in PBI desktop and PBI server to allow exporting of summarized data This blankness is happening on all 4 tabs of the report and all the visuals within. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello PowerBI community, I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently working on a project and am curious to know if there's a way to export a comprehensive list of all users who have access to a specific dashboard in PowerBI (see below, list from File/Manage Permissions/Direct Access). I've noticed that the "Report Usage Metrics" provides information about users who actively use the dashboard, but I'm specifically looking for a way to export a list of all users with access, including those who may not be frequent users. It's worth mentioning that our dashboards are not organized within apps. Any insights or guidance on achieving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Page breaks excel export while exported from power automate
I have developed power bi report builder report and have conditional page breaks. When exported to pdf it should have page breaks and when exported to excel it should not. It works fine when I run and download report manully from services. When I run the report through power automate and generate automated reports page break does not work in excel export. Please advise

Hello, Is exporting to excel with current layout available in power bi report server ? I only get the summarized option when I try to export from a Matrix. Also it's not mentioned on microsoft page that this option is limited to power bi service only... Thank you
