errors in log
6 TopicsEvents 137 and 108 in application log when click on subscription
Hello, when i click on the subscription Link in any report, or Setting>Subscription, the server logs 12 error log entries in application log with no specific information inside. Four with eventid 137 and eight with 108. I checked the log files (RSPortal* and RSPowerBI*) but there´s only INFO lines at the point of error log events. Each subscription works fine after configuration. I use PowerBI RS Version : 1.6.7364.4075 - Jan 2020 Does anyone have an idea where I could get more detailed information about this problem here? Thank for helping Wilfried9.7KViews2likes4CommentsPower BI Report Server Report Request for Report's with Errors.
The supervisor has tasked me with creating a Power BI (Report Server) report to identify reports with errors such as failed data refreshes. He prefers not to use any stock Power BI or SQL Report Server reports. Asked to create a Power BI report from scratch to accomplish this goal. Created a report that correctly links to individual reports but not the workspace they're stored in. My supervisor wants links to the reports listed in this report's workspace for easier access to the management of the report for troubleshooting purposes. Finally, I would like to know if it's possible to create a single report that lists Power BI as a service and optimized Power BI Report Server reports with errors. The goal is to create a Power BI report error log. It was hard to verbalize what I need so thank you in advance for your patience and assistance!Solved1.4KViews0likes3CommentsOData exception occurred: System.ObjectDisposedException: Safe handle has been closed
Hi everyone! I'm using Power BI Report Server September 2019. From yesterday I'm getting error when I want to open my reports "An error has occurred. Something went wrong. Please try again later". Doesn't matter size and data source of the reports. In the log file I have found an error: 2020-04-24 08:40:53.9167|ERROR|89|OData exception occurred: System.ObjectDisposedException: Safe handle has been closed at System.Runtime.InteropServices.SafeHandle.DangerousAddRef(Boolean& success) at System.StubHelpers.StubHelpers.SafeHandleAddRef(SafeHandle pHandle, Boolean& success) at Microsoft.Win32.Win32Native.GetTokenInformation(SafeAccessTokenHandle TokenHandle, UInt32 TokenInformationClass, SafeLocalAllocHandle TokenInformation, UInt32 TokenInformationLength, UInt32& ReturnLength) at System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetTokenInformation(SafeAccessTokenHandle tokenHandle, TokenInformationClass tokenInformationClass) at System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.get_User() at System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetName() at System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.get_Name() at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.Services.UserInfoService.GetUserDisplayName(IIdentity identity) at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.ODataWebApi.V1.Controllers.MeController.GetSingleton() at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.ODataWebApi.Controllers.Reflection.SingletonReflectionODataController'1.GetRoot(ODataPath oDataPath, Int32& index) at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.ODataWebApi.Controllers.Reflection.ReflectionODataController'1.Get(ODataPath oDataPath) at lambda_method(Closure , Object , Object[] ) at System.Web.Http.Controllers.ReflectedHttpActionDescriptor.ActionExecutor.<>c__DisplayClass10.<GetExecutor>b__9(Object instance, Object[] methodParameters) at System.Web.Http.Controllers.ReflectedHttpActionDescriptor.ExecuteAsync(HttpControllerContext controllerContext, IDictionary'2 arguments, CancellationToken cancellationToken) --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Web.Http.Controllers.ApiControllerActionInvoker.<InvokeActionAsyncCore>d__0.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Web.Http.Filters.ActionFilterAttribute.<CallOnActionExecutedAsync>d__5.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Web.Http.Filters.ActionFilterAttribute.<CallOnActionExecutedAsync>d__5.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Web.Http.Filters.ActionFilterAttribute.<ExecuteActionFilterAsyncCore>d__0.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Web.Http.Controllers.ActionFilterResult.<ExecuteAsync>d__2.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Web.Http.Controllers.ExceptionFilterResult.<ExecuteAsync>d__0.MoveNext().| RequestID = s_e7ab09ee-face-4018-9d05-ed0f9d0178cf 2020-04-24 08:40:53.9167|INFO|89|Connection dropped. domain\username 10.176.30.141: GET /api/v2.0/me, Elapsed time 0:00:00.1191794| RequestID = s_e7ab09ee-face-4018-9d05-ed0f9d0178cf What was done is that on this week, on Wednesday we opened secure connection to our portal from not corporate web connection. But on Wednesday everything was working fine. It happened on Thursday 23.04 after 12:00 pm. Also, we configured SQL Server Reporting Services on the same Windows Server and the SSRS Portal also doesn't work, but it shows error "No connection to the website" and no error in log file. If You have any suggestions what to do with this error I will be very grateful!1.7KViews0likes0CommentsRepeated server name in API urls
Hi we're running the January 2019 release of Report Server and are getting slow performance reported by users running reports. We restart the service every few days while we are investigating as this helps with the performance issues. In the logs I can see errors where the RequestID doesn't relate back to an entry in ExecutionLog3 on the database. The detail of the error shows our server name repeated in the url eg http://powerbi/powerbi/api/explore/reports/3b1c1b5a-a4a1-4a37-961a-08acb7ae6f06/querydata 2019-05-22 11:32:38.4686|WARN|10|A data reduction algorithm was specified but the corresponding grouping does not exist. I also have an issue saving power bi desktop reports to the server where it says "something went wrong" but if I refresh the page the report is uploaded. However its not possible to schedule a data refresh so it looks like something to do with an inability to store data source settings on the pwoer bi report. So these could be related issues. I have tried to "change" the encryption key but that didnt help. Thanks8KViews0likes9Comments
