Hi all, I am getting the following error. My data source is located in cloudfront (Amazon), my client updates the Excel files and I use it. My Power BI is 64 bit and I don't know my client's Office version (I don't know if it matters). I've already downloaded the Access Database Engine and set Data Source Credentials as Organizational and still doesn't work.
Unable to publish paginated report to premium workspace
HI all, I am trying to publish a paginated report to a Premium workspace. The report already exists in this workspace and sits inside a folder. When publishing it, Report Builder states the report already exists and request confirmation for report replacement. Then, after confirming to publish, the program reports the following error. Operation returned an invalid status code 'NotFound' ErrorCode: DuplicatePackageNotFoundError Details: An unknown error was encountered. Please try again. ResponseId: 01871441-95db-412e-b194-eab2a071998f ActivityId: REDACTED RequestId: REDACTED Timestamp: 15/07/2024 14:40:31 +02:00 In a similar question from months ago, they suggested OP to upgrade Report Builder to the latest version, because that old one didn't support workspace folders. Undortunately I already have the latest version Moreover, I am farily sure that some days ago I was able to publish that very same report successfully Now I need to publish the report with some urgence: how can I overcome this issue? Matrix Format Changes When Published to Power BI Report Server
We recently upgraded to May 2024 for Power BI Report Server and we're running into a very weird problem. Maxtrixes are not allowing us to use the Tabular or Outline formatting when published. They loook fine in desktop, but once on the server, they look like the default Matrix layout. Unable to Publish Report to power bi service by team mates
I have a premium liscense in my workspace at times my team mates publish thier reports but now for some user whom i have given permissions it is now allowing them anymore to publish their reports to my workspace the below is the error that is shown It states that only users with certain power bi liscense can publish to my workspace when my teammates who i added as contributors in my workspace They tried downloading and reinstalling thier desktop still issue has not resolved Session ID 5dfe84aa-f15c-4e1c-822f-dbe4058b6137 Client version 2.128.1380.0
Publish to PBI Service Issue - Jan 2024 release
Hi, running following Report Server: Version1.19.8779.19175 (Januar 2024), i'm trying to publish a report to the cloud service using the report server ui. When right-clicking the report, selecting the publish option, i'm now asked to sign in . Clicking sign in / "Anmelden", i'm able to see a redirect "https://app.powerbi.com/..." in a fraction of a second and will return however to the current sign in page as if nothing happend. A few weeks ago i was able to easily publish reports to the cloud service without an issue. Could be related to the Report Server upgrade that i have done last week. This behavior is same for a clustered instance (nlb) and a non-clustered instance of the Report Server. Petebro v-alipat Thanks for looking into this. Republishing report on Report Server
Hello, I am updating a report that is published on Power BI Report Server using Power BI Desktop. Each time I update a scorecard formula or add a new column to one of the tables, I don't see changes happen to my published report. I tried saving the report with the same name and the replacing the existing report with the new one. The only workaround I found is to publish a new report with different name, then I have to delete the old one. Is there a way to fix this in a manner that after saving the file, changes are reported to the same published report or is it a feature that's lacking in Power BI Report Server? I am new to Power BI and I've been searching a lot in the forums but I couldn't find an answer to this issue, I'd really appreciate your help here. Thanks!
Report bar chart change formate after publish my report
I am working with a dashboard which has multiple datasets. The dashboard in power bi desktop is this. After I publish the dashboard to web it changes to this. Why is this happening. Also, only this chart is behaving this way. Other charts are working fine. Also this is not happening immediately but usually after some time or the next day. Upon republishing the dashboard, it is working fine for some time and again same problem occurs. What is the reason behind this?This visual element could not be displayed
Hello everyone I imported two custom visual elements from the visual elements store (Text Filter, Card with States by OKViz) into the Desktop RS report. In Desktop RS, everything works perfectly. Next, I save the report on the local Power BI Report Server and get the following error (in the figure below - This visual element could not be displayed). (500) Internal server error appears after the publishing process
Hi everyone! I tried to publish a report when I was logged with my user and the messsage "(500) Internal server error" appeared. This error does not happen when I try to publish the same .pbix file with other user. Is this problem related with my user account? This error first appered last afternoon (GMT +2).
