Email subscription settings shows Null parameter
Hello, So i've faced this problem recently. Usually I send a copy of the paginated report using email subscription, and always use setting of "Use Current (rendered report) values" as the parameter. Today, I already filled in the parameter in the report, and I want to send the email subscription using the rendered parameter value, but in the email subscription setting, it shows as (null). The parameter in the report, and it managed to render a report The parameter in email subscription setting. You can see the "Month" parameter is (null) Which cause an error yto the email subscription and the report can't be send. This is weird because I still able to send the email subscription using this parameter setting last week and the week before, and everything is work perfectly fine. Anyone knows what is the issue? Power Bi Subscribe full report attachment as EXCEL
Hi All, Can anyone plese help me to find a way to send excel attachments with Emails. I'm having power BI premium per user licence and i want to send full table with the email subscribtion as Excel File. But power bi showing only pdf and pptx as below. Hello Everyone, I am looking for an option in Power BI on-Premesis report server email subscription, to use a differnent sender email address to send emails to differnt customers. Like client Mr. XYZ should receive the email from email address [email protected] while client Mr. PQR should recieve the email from email address [email protected]. Please let me know any solution other than using a seperate report server for each sender email address. Thanks
PBI RS (May 2021) report URLs changing or changed & Email subscription links (paginated reports)
I had a user point out that the url link that PBI RS inserts at the bottom of an email body does not take them to the report, but rather a variation of the reports' url resulting in a "Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." error. In looking at the issue closer I found that after upgrading report server to May 2021 version that report urls are changing when the report is accessed. Once the report is accessed by a user, the reports' url is getting "/report/" added to the url. This is where the "Include Link" function for paginated report subscriptions breaks for users. This is new behavior to me, I need to resolve it. Please help.
