Power BI Report Server + Dynamics 365 : how to refresh?
Hello community! Please, help to solve my issue. I set up a power bi report server and published a report. The data source for the report is dynamics 365 crm system (cloud). When I developed the report in desktop version I used my organisational credentials to connect to dynamics system. Now I need some system user in order to connect my report on server to cloud crm. I asked our devops for the new system user, and they created one according to this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-application-users#create-an-application-user As a result I received the user looking like the real one, with login and pass. Instead of that power bi server expects to receive from me some key?.. I started investigation and found several topics which said that this type of connection is impossible, but those articles might be outdated (they were written in 2019). Could someone please help to clarify how to deal with this?

The PBI filter pane does not appear on Dynamics
Hi, I publish PBI reports on Dynamics, I notice since last week that the filter pane of the report does not appear on Dynamics. can you explain the problem to me and how I can fix it, Thank you for your help

paginated reports dynamics 365 annotation table images cant be added to report
Hello, Our data source is DYNAMICS 365 we are trying to add an image that is in the annotation table however when we run the report we do not get a picture, the control is left blank Anyone have an idea why this is not working ?

Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) Reporting Extensions with Power BI Report Server
Hi everyone, I am about to install and configure Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) and I would like to know if Power BI Report Server is supported for the "Reporting Extensions Setup". On the documentation its mentioned only SSRS but I would not wish to have two separate instances and supporting infrastructure for no need. Can anyone assist with this? Thank you Regards, LS

On-prem Power BI report server, dynamic 365 data refresh
Hi, Using OData feed connection as - https://<Dynamic 365 IFD URL>/api/data/v8.2/quotes. Inside Power BI desktop, I can connect using organizational account and fetch the data through OData feed. D365 version: Microsoft Dynamic 365 Version 1612 (8.2.2.112) (DB 8.2.2.112) on-premises Organization has on-prem Power BI report server (benefits of SQL EE SA): Power BI Report Server: Version 1.8.7485.35104 (May 2020) I uploaded the newly created report and set up for Data refresh schedule which always throw error - Data source error: Login failed for data source Then I looked for data sources which has connection options as below: Type: OData Connection string: https://<Dynamic 365 IFD URL>/api/data/v8.2/quotes Credential options as Anonymous, Windows Authentication, Basic Authentication but not works and always fail when check test connection. I didn’t tried ‘Key Authentication’ as I am not aware ☹. Please let me know what I am missing or is there any limitations?

Hi guys, Do you think it's possible to connect report server or a Power BI hybrid to the Dynamics 365 online? If yes, do you have any links on the subject? All I can find online is the other way around--D365 on prem and Power BI in the cloud. Thanks a million!

Power BI Real-Time Report with Dynamics 365
Currently I have a Power BI Pro account and a dev Dynamics 365, where I need create a real-time Report showing a table with all emails created in last hour and a dashboard showing the amount of emails per minute. I've read many posts / websites talking about API / PubNub, already created some examples using Stream API and mapped the column which I need to create my table (createdon, subject) but it doesn't work. After that I build another API and put a Microsoft Flow to be triggered when a new email appear on Dynamics 365 email table, send this item to Power BI dataset, it works but not as I wish (I need to refresh my report to show the new data). I have many questions about real-time integration (I'm a newbie in real-time reports yet): - Is it possible to have a real-time Report with table, matrix and everything? (I'm saying report, not a dashboard with tile...) - If yes, how could I create a real-time Report? (Based on what I said, API / PubNub doesn't work for my report) - And, in addition, there is some way to transform real-time data that comes from API? or create measures? (Because for dashboard example, i have only createdon and subject, so I need a "count" measure to build a dashboard) - If no, there is some way to create something similar on Power BI?
