dynamic slicer
3 TopicsVisualisation (Slicer and Button Slicer)
Hi everyone, I hope you all have a nice day. I want to ask (pictures attached), I gave an example of me using visualisation of "Button Slicer (Top)" and "Slicer (Bottom)" in the picture, I have a table where I have Reporting Date column then I make custom column for the quarters and months. The "Year" in the slicer is from Reporting Date hieararchy (Year), but the quarter and month in the slicer, they both are custom column that I made from the Reporting Date column (so they are not the hieararchy of "Reporting Date"). My questions (I don't mind if you answer with "Slicer" visualisation or "Button Slicer" visualisation): In Picture 1, If I select Q1 and it turns grey, how do the visualisation slicer for months turns black (for Jan, Feb, Mar) without me selecting the Quarter slicer? In Picture 2, If I select any month (for example: Aug) and it turns black, how do the visualisation slicer for quarter turns grey (Q2) without me selecting the Quarter slicer? In Picture 3, If I select Year "2025" and it turns black, how do the visualisation slicer for quarter and months also turns black without me selecting Quarter and Month slicer? Please kindly help me answer my questions. Thank you in advance. God bless. 😊🙏1.8KViews0likes1CommentUrgent Help: How to rename the 'select all' option to say 'all products' in a slicer
Hello, I have a multiselect slicer that has select all option in it. My slicer is also filtered from the filter pane by 'filter on this visual'. So, things filtered appear in the slicer. Because its a multiselect, I also have the select all option switched on from the visualization>>Format. I want to edit the 'Select All' to say 'All products'. I have created a calculated table for this but now the issue is 'All products' is all the products present in my dataset and not the cumulation of products from the filter pane. I want to rename 'select all' to 'all products' and this should be equivalent to only the products selected in the filter. Can someone help please urgently??Solved4.2KViews0likes3CommentsDynamic Table with field parameter and two value slicers partially working.
Hello Everyone. I need some help to cross the finish line on a visual and was hoping it would be an easy fix with some guidance from the community. I have a matrix table visual as shown below. I want this table to update dynamicaly based on the CV and SV buttons. So far I have been able to do that. I also want it to update dynamically based on the negative and/or positive limit that the user selects in the negative and positive limit slicers. So far I have been able to accomplish this partially with the CV selection, but not the SV selection. Below example shows the CV table accurately change based on the limit slicers, but when changed to the SV view the table is still basing results off of the CV measure. Measures for columns shown as 1 on the table are shown below (IncludeValueCV, IncludeValueSV). IncludeValueCV = IF( [CV Cur] < SELECTEDVALUE('Lower Limit'[Lower Limit]) || [CV Cur] > SELECTEDVALUE('Upper Limit'[Upper Limit]), 1, 0 ) IncludeValueSV = IF( [SV Cur] < SELECTEDVALUE('Lower Limit'[Lower Limit]) || [SV Cur] > SELECTEDVALUE('Upper Limit'[Upper Limit]), 1, 0 ) Here are is the parameter and values that are in the matrix table. prm_variance_options = { ("CV", NAMEOF('fct_ev_data'[CV]), 0, "CV"), ("1", NAMEOF('fct_ev_data'[IncludeValueCV]), 1, "CV"), ("SV", NAMEOF('fct_ev_data'[SV **bleep** EOM]), 0, "SV"), ("1", NAMEOF('fct_ev_data'[IncludeValueSV]), 1, "SV") Here are the parameters for the lower and upper limit slicers. Lower Limit = GENERATESERIES(-5000000, 0, 50000) Lower Limit Value = SELECTEDVALUE('Lower Limit'[Lower Limit]) Upper Limit = GENERATESERIES(0, 5000000, 50000) Upper Limit Value = SELECTEDVALUE('Upper Limit'[Upper Limit]) I appreciate any guidance the community can provide in getting both CV and SV values in the matrix table when updating the lower and upper limit value slicers. Thank you. Joaquin C.Solved562Views0likes1Comment
