Why can't we format dates in slicers
The issue of date & calendar formatting has been raised many times over the past 6 years. Just wondering if there's a reason for it. Absolutely crazy that something like this should depend on client-side settings. Hello, I am looking for the way to create a report where after selecting one parameters you can also select period like 3 months or 6, or 9 with 3 as a default. I tried to find it but I could not. Could you help me find sources or give some tips how can I build it?
Date read as text in report linked to sharepoint
Hi, I am linking a table from sharepoint directly to a report online. In the table is a column with the Date in the follwing format: dd/month/yyyy, 31/May/2018 for example. However, when this variable is used, the repor reads it as a text which causes problems when trying to graph the evolution of a given variable over time. I know that in the desktop version I could easily change the format of a variable so it is read as date. However, how is this done in the online report? Any ideas? Many thanks Andres
