Hi Community, I'm getting the following error in Power BI Report Server: An error occurred in the report server database. This may be due to a connection failure, timeout, or low disk condition within the database. Has anyone encountered this issue before? What logs or checks would you recommend reviewing to identify the root cause? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi All, My PowerBi Desktop had updated to version August 2021. I had published my report to Microsoft Team's under My Workspace. I went to the setting to configure database refresh, there are only Anonymous and OAuth2 authentication methods available. I was still unable to refresh the database from Microsoft Team via Sharepoint List. May I know is there any resolution to refresh the database for Sharepoint list? Thank you.Solved1.1KViews0likes2CommentsHelp with: Connecting Oracle Database to Power-BI Report Server desktop
Hi, I have struggled with a simple issue for days now. I need to connect to an Oracle Database and retreive data from there, but I cant make it work. I have followed the steps in the following microsoft link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-oracle-database My Power-BI report server desktop is 64-bit version which is in line with my computer. I have downloaded both 32- and 64-bit ODAC 122011 (Not the Xcopy version) and saved them in different directories. I have also tried an earlier version of both 32- and 64-bit ODAC 121024. - I always tick the box of Machine Wide configuration in the installation of the ODAC - I always run the installation as administrator - I even unpackaged the .zip file in temp to isolate the file from onedrive connection - I have all the TNS information and access in order to connect to the database (I can connect it through oracle developer). * I always untick the "Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio" in the installation of the 32-bit ODAC versions - because i cannot install the ODAC with this ticked due to the fact that I dont have visual studio installed. Despite this, I always get the messege from Power-BI that I have not installed the Oracle client once I try to retreive data from an Oracle Database. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing anything? Do I need visual studio to just connect to an oracle DB? Best, HwebSolved1.7KViews0likes2CommentsProblem with Report Server Databse
I am running PowerBI Server (March 18) with MSSQL16 on Win Server 2012r2. Everything worked fine till today lunch time. Suddenly I am not longer able to upload or delete a report, I also get an error message when I try to download or delete the brand file. Error message is (I translate from German): "Error in Report-Server-Database. This can be caused from connection problem, a time out or running low on Space in the database" There are no connection issues. No time outs. there is plenty of space in the database. Errors on the Server: Event Log: Error Report Server (PBIRS) Event ID: 137 Task: (5) Error MSOLAP$PBIRS Event ID: 25 Task: 289 Anyone a clue what happened and how to fix this issue??
