Hello! We are trying to create a new data source on Report Server, but the following error occurs when we enter the username/password and click "Create" button: User name and password are correct, because when I'm trying to fill in the same username and password in other data source just to check if the connection is successful, everything works fine with this username and password: Could please anybody tell where the problem lies or where to start looking? I have created a simple power bi report in desktop, connected to an internal MySQL (MariaDB) database, which enforces connecting using SSL (but does not require certificate files). On desktop, the data load works correctly. When this report gets saved to our reporting server, I cannot configure the data source for the file to connect using the same credentials & authentication mode. I am guessing that it isn't using encryption, but needs to, and I can't find a parameter to enable to inform the server to do so. On the desktop, there is a single checkbox to use encryption, but I cannot find the same option anywhere within the reporting server. Hi everyone! I have connected my report to excel file which is stored in OneDrive through Web Connector. Refreshing from desktop app is working fine, however, when I'm trying to setup Data Source on Report Server it shows me an error: The remote name could not be resolved: 'domain.sharepoint.com' Earlier this worked fine with another files. Maybe someone knows what may cause this and how to solve this problem? Many thanks in advance, LB7.6KViews0likes1CommentCouldn't connect Unsupported keyword
Since we upgraded PBIRS (from August 2018 to May 2019), we are experiencing problems with new PBI reports (either published/saved as on Report Server or Uploaded from PBIRS Portal) not able to connect to a SQL Server 2012 Data Source that other reports have no problem with. "Couldn't connect The report server couldn't connect to the data source using the information you entered. Make sure you've entered the connection string and any credentials correctly. Keyword not supported: 'eppv-sql12-2c\epqdw_prod;warehouse;integrated security'." The odd thing is we are using the same data source configuration details as in other reports that Test the connection just fine on the same data source. Any help appreciated. Hi all, I have a PowerBI offline desktop version for a report which is connected using the Denodo custom connector to a Oracle database. There exists a report server to which I would need to upload these reports for a larger audience. When I upload this report to the Report Server, when I click on "manage" for the report to view the data source, the data source is greyed out / disabled and there exists no data source configured. In the report server itself, I have also configured a data source for the DB consisting of the correct credentials and tested connection. Please let me know why the data source is greyed out?1.5KViews0likes3Comments
