Good day everyone, I'm leading a POC in the company to prove that we can switch from our current report tool to Power BI paginated reports. There is just one last requirement that would be key for the decision: Allow user to customize/create their own reports; by customize, I mean, allow them to add/remove some columns from the base report and save them with a different name. I know that's possible with Power BI reports, but we need to use paginated reports due to its print/export capabilites. Thanks in advance.Solved808Views0likes1CommentCustomizable background color options in Gantt 3.0.10.0 visual
Hello, I would like to suggest an idea related to the formatting options of Gantt 3.0.10.0 visual. My task is to create a project management portfolio, where projects are displayed on the gantt timeline. I tried various gantt visuals and this visual meet our expectations the most out of the options PBI provides. Since the whole report is in a dark theme, I need the visual to be the same color as well. Unfortunately the part where the task name is displayed has white backgroung and I can´t customize it. Would it be possible to modify the visual so that the user can set the background in the task part himself? I believe that this modification would be beneficial for displaying projects in reports in both dark and light theme. The ability to disable the automatic resizing of visuals when adjusting their position. The automatic dimension adjusting can be problematic when trying to perfectly align visuals and have consistent sizing throughout a report. The ability to toggle this automatic resizing on/off per visual would be convenient, as the automatic resizing may still be desirable for some users. This proposed togglable setting could be located in a visual's General / Properties / Size settings, underneath the Lock aspect ratio option. The Sankey Diagram as it is today is an extremely useful visual for showing network, process, or system flow. However there are some serious limitations that, if fixed, would make this visual TOP NOTCH. (Most important in this list) Conditional Color formatting for the nodes and links based on columns and/or measures We could show the status of each link/node IN THE SANKEY??? Mind blown. Make labels visible not by the node size, but by the distance from adjacent nodes. It's frustrating to have 6 inches of white space on either side of a node, but the label won't display because the node is small. Have a button to restore the default locations of the nodes if they're moved (Extra credit) Have an option to re-position the nodes to have minimal overlapping links Formatting data for Sankey Visual3.5KViews0likes0CommentsUsing Java Script from CodePen to create a Custom Visual

I would like to be able to organize all my custom visualizations within Power BI. I am not sure how I would accomplish this but I would suggest being able to create folders, create groups, or having a customized view. Is there anything like this currently being worked on? If so please let me know how / where to get this functionality for Power BI. Thanks, Kyle7.9KViews3likes3Comments
