503 errors with custom visuals with report server using form authentication
Hi. In the last 2 months I have problems with using custom visuals (of the marketplace) in PBI reports on my report server using custom authentation (I use Forms authentication). The 503 error is quite random and might not happen everytime, but can be reproduced by hitting F5 in the browser. Sometimes all custom visual are ommited, sometimes only a part of the custom visuals are drawn - sometimes a scrollbar is shown on the custom visual, but there should be no scrollbar (e.g. the tag cloud visual). It's a very random error/problem. The Report Server runs the January 2021 release, but the problem showed up with the release before (October 2020 - most current version), too. Has anybody seen this odd behavior - and is there a solution/workaround for this 503 problem? Thanks, Lars
Issue custom visual
hello I have a Power BI report that uses custom visuals. All the custom visuals in the report worked perfectly, however when I publish the report to power bi server it shows me the following issue: I have already enabled the permission for data extensions in the Global/Security/Data extensions sectionPower BI Dial gauge custom visual not showing in server.
HI, I am working on Power BI report server May 2019 and have created Power BI report using custom visual Dial Gauge. When i publish the report to report server, the custom visual(Dial Gauge) does not show up. rest other visual are showing fine. while troubleshooting in browser console it was giving 401 unauthorized error for visual sandbox. error attached.
Mailto in HTML in card browser visualization
Hi I am using HTML within "card browser" visualization in power BI. It includes a "mailto" link. The link does not work.. when I try wo the HTML (e.g. text box) it works ok. I can see the HTML command is correct. I suspect is related to the HTML in PBI. Anyone encountered something like this?
Power Bi Report Server: Custom Text Filter visual 401 error forms authentication on chrome browser
Hi, I am using Custom Text filter Visual in one of the report and hosted on Power Bi Report Server. Custom Control is working fine in Internet Explorer Edge and failed to load in Chrome with the following errors while loading Javascript files. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (Unauthorized) visualSandbox.externals.js:1 We tried enabling Access-Control-Allow-Origin on report server config and web.config and even in Report Server database in the configuration table. but no luck. Using the Power BI Report Server version - October 2019 release . Any suggestions please
