When I connect to the odata feed from Power BI Desktop, I can connect and I can access the information and create reports. When I publish the report to our internally hosted Power BI Report Server, I go to the properties of the report goto Data Sources Go down to the Credentials and Change the Authentication type to Basic Authentication Enter the username and passowrd that I used for the report in Power BI Desktop When I click Test Connection I get a red x Couldn't Connect with the following message Couldn't connect The report server couldn't connect to the data source using the information you entered. Make sure you've entered the connection string and any credentials correctly. Hide error details Show error details Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct.
