Bump Chart: Workout Wednesday_33
I created a bump chart using native line chart in Power BI and RANKX measure. The chart comes in two versions, one according to WW_33 requirements and second one with series labels on the right side (my preference, I believe it improves readability). For the Raise The Bar Quickviz challenge, I created a bar chart in Power BI that uses field-value conditional formatting and error bars to show the target. This is one of my favorite visuals for showing performance against a target. Each entire bar changes color based on the result: green when the category meets or exceeds the target, gray when it doesn’t. The target itself is shown with error bars (with a label), so it’s easy to see who reached last year’s level and who didn’t. The subtitle is fully dynamic and lists the categories that reached the yearly target. It respects slicers and improves accessibility for users who rely on screen readers. This Power BI dashboard presents an analytical overview of Netflix movies and TV shows using publicly available dataset. The dashboard focuses on understanding content volume, genre distribution, rating categories, release year trends, and global availability. Key Metrics: Total Movies: 7789 Total Directors: 4049 Total Genres: 493 Release Year Range: 1925 to 2021 Dashboard Insights: Movies and TV Shows Distribution: Visual comparison showing that movies dominate the Netflix content library compared to TV shows. Ratings by Total Titles: TV MA and TV 14 categories have the highest number of titles, indicating a strong focus on mature and young adult audiences.
