Problem after HTTPS certificate replacement
Hi to all, I have a Power BI Server on premise installed on a server. The connection to Report URL is HTTPS. The certificate is released by customer CA authority and is correctly binding inside the server. All is ok. Now the certficate is nearly to expire. So I have created a new csr file and request a new certificate from custome CA Authority. After that I have done the following actions: installed the new certificate in Local Server \ Personal folder ussin cert utility under mme opened the RRS configuration tool unbinding the actual certificate in Report URL section unbinding the actual certificate under URL Report Server section binding the new certificate under URL Report Server section binding the new certificate under Report URL section All is fine. I can reac the URL reports web page and the certificate expired date ia associated to the new one. But when I can try to open a Power BI report on the server or publish a new report using power bi desktop client, I receive an error "unexpected error " Can you help me ? The new certificate seems work fine but I am not able to view the reportsUnable to connect to Amazon Redshift - SSL certificate verification error
Recently I've encountered the following error while trying to connect to Redshift through Powerbi: However, i would like to mention that while using the same credentials, server address etc. i am able to successfully connectto my database while using a query program such as Dbeaver for eg. Any ideas what might cause this issue? Many thanks !
Not seeing certificate in Web Portal URL in Report Configuration Manager
Hello, We recently had a certificate expire for our on-prem PowerBI Report Server environment. After deploying a new certificate, which is stored locally, we are unable to see the newly installed certificate under the dropdown menu in the Web Portal URL section of the Report Server Configuration Manager. We researched this extensively and made sure the Certificate binding is correct and removed other bindings. Has anyone else encountered this before? If so, what are some potential fixes?How to configure digital certificate on Report Server
Hi everyone, I've installed the digital certificate on Power BI Report Server, but I'm having trouble accessing it. I created the HTTPS:// address, but the certificate has an error https://My_Server:443/reports_bi I can only access it if I put the full FQDN address, like this: https://My_Server.fqdn.com:443/reports_bi Does anyone know what they need to do to access the address without the FQDN, like this: https://My_Server:443/reports_bi Thanks. _Keny
