14 TopicsNext and Previous Buttons To Navigate Through a Single Select Slicer
Hi everyone I have a single - select drop down menu, but the drop down has ~1500 names, it's not user friendly to go to the next person. I'd like to include a next and previous button . I have created an index column to use +1/-1 to navigate through my list. I have separate cards and a table that provides the current name, next name, and previous name, all currently showing the data correctly as I select random names in my drop down (in other words I have the correct DAX statements) I attempted to do this with bookmarks - but because there are so many names and bookmarks are static, this is not a great avenue. I attempted to do this with page navigation but it doesn't leverage the logic from my measures or calculated columns. It works in the sense that it toggles between previously tested names. I am now attempting to click on the name from the table in hopes that the next/previous name may update the slicer Has anyone come across this exercise before?3.5KViews0likes3CommentsCustom Button Shape (Selection Pane)
I notice no matter what shape you select in powerbi, you will always have a default rectangle pane which is the acutal click box. (Like this) Is there anyway we can change the selection pane to a curve/ custom click box that match some specific visual designs?SolvedButton that downloads visual to local machine
Hello, I have a request from the stakeholder to build a button that downloads visuals into a CSV / Excel. Options I've been able to find include: Enabling Header Icons so the user can hit the ellipses and export the data Stakeholder complained it is to small and not intuitive enough Building a button via power automate Only works if there is a sharepoint available, unfortunately this is not an option. If anyone has a way to download to your local machine that isn't the above two options that would be amazing!957Views2likes1CommentExporting a Table from PowerBI Service with Dynamic Filters
Hello PBI Community, I have been attempting to create a PowerAutomate flow within my PowerBI report to allow users to select a button to export the table on the report into a SharePoint folder. I have been facing some difficulty with this flow so I was hoping this community could help solve it. For context, I have a published PowerBI report with a normal table visual on it. I am attempting to add the PowerAutomate button to the page with a linked flow that, upon clicking, triggers the export of the current filtered table, with page slicers applied, to a SharePoint folder. The two filters/slicers that are key for the filtering and dynamic exporting are "Asset" and "Work Order Number". I've tried a few different methods, with some success on getting the table exported, but not filtered down to the "sliced" view. Has anyone dealt with something like this before?471Views0likes1CommentDashboard Buttons (Filters) - MvM, YvY, QvQ, MAT v MAT
