blank page
5 TopicsJust upgraded to the latest (January 2023) PowerBI - Now Home Page Blank
Just upgraded to the latest version of Power BI (January 2023) and the Home page is now blank for average users. It states "Could not load folder contents. Something went wrong. Please try again later." For those of us that are administrattors on the SQL Server the Home page loads just fine. After doing some testing, I found that if I take a normal user and add them to teh Administrators (local) on the SQL Server that is running Power BI, the Home page will load just fine. Also found that if we send the normal user the link to their requested report in the subfolders from the Home page that they can access the page just fine and run their needed report. Teh issue is something with permissions around users loading the Home page. I tried adding users to "Power Users" (local) security group and that did not help. Everything was working on the previous version of Power BI (a 2019 version).553Views0likes0CommentsBlank page from client side
Hi community, I installed power bi report server January 2022 on Windows server 2019 standard edition. After installation I configured it and I open the link in a browser on the server and I shared one report on it : it's working fine. On the server I was accessing with the active direcory admin user. After I go to one client machine (in the same server VLAN) and I access it with the same active direcory admin user, I open the browser and taped the PBI server link it request from me a login and password : I enter the same active direcory admin user and password and click OK the page appear blank nothing on it. Anyone have idea why??Solved1.7KViews0likes2CommentsPowerBI Report Builder still prints blank pages
I have a pivot table that prints two pages with two additional blank pages. I have tried the advice in the earlier posts, but still can not figure out what is pushing out the horizontal margins. Report Property: Letter, 8.5 in, 11in Margins 0.125 in, 0.125 in, 0.25, 0.25 m InteractiveSize 7.9 in, 10.4 in. Body Property: 6.5 in., 0.9 in. I checked for page breaks in the Groups. I set objects in the header CanGrow to false, CanShrink true. What am I missing?Solved6KViews0likes1CommentBlank months after scheduled refresh
Hi folks, I have a big issue. Since the May 2021 Version (Server+ Desktop) some of our Sales Reports do not work anymore. When I´m refreshing those reports in my Desktop version all looks good. They work as well after publishing on the Server. But After a scheduled refresh some visuals do not work anymore. I think it has somthing to do with my Calender and the "createdon" field from my source (Odata MS CRM). I simplified the model: Leads: Calender: Desktop Version: Report Server after scheduled refresh: --> Blank. Its very urgent. Thank you in adavance! I have a report that I can filter using the dedicated syntax in the URL. Here an example: Report URL without parameters: https://pbiserver/Reports/powerbi/MyReport Report URL with a parameter: https://pbiserver/Reports/powerbi/MyReport?filter=myTable/myField eq 'myValue' In the browser it is translated to: https://pbiserver/Reports/powerbi/MyReport?filter=myTable%2FmyField%20eq%20%27myValue%27 The first URL works fine. The entire report is visible in a Report Server web page as usual. The issue is that the second URL shows only a blank page. No visual objects, no filter pane, nothing. Only a complete empty white page. Even if the filter will exclude all data, at least the report structure should be visible. I'm sure that the URL is correct because, until the version of October 2020 of the Report Server, this report run correctly, with and without URL parameters. So, the problem is present only in Report Server of January 2021.Solved1.4KViews1like2Comments
