How to Filter Azure AD Group Table in Power BI for Specific Group?
Hello everyone, I'm facing a challenge in Power BI while working with Azure Active Directory data. I've successfully imported the Azure AD 'group' table into Power BI using the Active Directory connection. However, I'm encountering difficulties in filtering this table to locate a specific group and extract user details from it. My process so far: Imported data from the Active Directory option in Power BI. In the Navigator window, expanded my domain tree and double-clicked on 'group', which led me to the Power Query Editor displaying a list of all groups. Attempted to filter for a specific group by using the 'distinguishedName' column in the Power Query Editor: I clicked the down-arrow, selected 'Text Filters' > 'Contains...', and entered the group name. Note: I ensured the case sensitivity of the group name. After applying the filter, I received a message stating "This table is empty." This suggests that either the group isn't present in the loaded data or I'm missing something in my approach. Could anyone provide guidance on: How to properly filter the Azure AD group table in Power BI to find a specific group? Any best practices or alternative methods to achieve this?
