How to achieve Adhoc/Self-service reporting capabilities in PowerBI Report Server
Hi, Is there a possibility to execute self-service reporting in the PowerBI Report Server? i.e. the business wants to create/execute reports via Browser in the PowerBI Report Server Edition. The Business users want to visualize the published datasets via browser without needing to have the Desktop RS installed. I would appreciate it if anyone could share with us the possibilities of achieving the Adhoc/Self-service reporting capabilities. Thanks, Kiran Kumar S
Online Ad-hoc Analysis Interface for Users
Not necessarily a PBIRS questions but, just like a user can connect to a SSAS model from Excel and pull fields/measures into a pivot, I want to know if it is possible to provide some kind of online interface that users can use to create ad-hoc views? Maybe some kind of acustom visual where report creator can add a bunch of fields/measures that a user can see/use (or a perspective in SSAS) and drop them into a pivot whichever way they want. Is there anything in Power BI that can do that or is there any other solution out there that can help achieve this?
