"Export to PDF" button
Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well! 😊 I'm currently using Power BI Report Server for my reports and I've encountered a problem. I want to add an "Export to PDF" button to my report, but unfortunately, this feature isn't available in the version I'm using. Has anyone here faced a similar issue or knows how I can add this capability? I'd appreciate any suggestions or best practices you can share. Thank you so much!
Report Builder - Header and footer problems in print layout mode
Hello, as the the subject suggests I have some problems in print layout mode with header and footer section. Overview I have two datasets: First data set has only one row that it needs to be displayed on the header section of every report page Second data set has multiple rows which they are "linked" to the row in the first data set. These rows has to be displayed on the body section: I need to display one row per report page, so one instance per page. I would like to divide the page as a standard page with Header, Body and Footer with A4 size. The structure of the page in normal executed mode is displayed on the Image0 Report's goal: Header Section I need to display data from the first data set as you can see on the attached image. Body Section I need to display data from the second data set, one row per report page Footer Section I need to display only a static item. The problems Print layout mode problems: - Part of the header is cut out (Image 1). Comparing Image1 and Image0 you can see that DataQuattro, DataTre, DataDue and DataUno disappeared. Why? - Although body has to display only one row it has a lot of space for itself (Image1); - Comparing Image2 and Image0, you can see that, when the report is on the second page, the body part moves up in Image2 (it represents the second page of the report). Why? I also will attach an image of the structure of the report (Structure). Thank you in advance!
How to remove scroll bar in export of dashboard and make grid bigger instead?
I've created a dashboard consisting of multiple reports (grids). However, since I have many columns, when I export the dashboard, it is showing scrollbars and they are disabled. How can I instead of having these scrollbars, extend the width of the grid to fill the page (even if the table because smaller font)?
How to capture a screen shot of a PowerBI (RS) Report and export as file/PDF WITHOUT Power Automate?
The goal is to capture a screen shot of a Power BI Report (Resport Server Version) and then export that screen shot to a pdf/png/email. I am most interested in any suggestions about how, if possible, this flow can be automated WITHOUT Power Automate. The reason for not using Power Automate is that my employer currently does not offer Power BI Service, only Report Server. Thanks. ObiPowerBI crashes during .pdf export (28tabs)
Hi, I find the .pdf exporter to be very temperamental. Sometimes it works and MOST of the time it does not work. I often have to reinstall an older version of PowerBI, which sometimes fixes the problem - however, not this time, thus I am posting on the forum. Every time I click "export to pdf" the process seems to work until the end (reaches page 28/28), then it force closes the entire PowerBI program. Any solutions? See diagnostics below.
