Refresh error. Log shows .NET issues
We have a reports which refresh worked well on PBRS january 2020 version. After the may 2020 update, it stopped to refresh. The log error message says: |Error Processing Data Model Refresh: SessionId: xx, Status: Error Failed to refresh the model, Exception Microsoft.AnalysisServices.OperationException: Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'This feature requires installing a newer version of the .NET framework. To use it, you must install at least 'Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5': https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=528259. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. We run it on a Windows 2012 Server with .Net 4.8. The report refrehs flawless on the PB Desktop. Any hint?
Cannot embed a Power BI Report into a .NET MVC application
We are running Power BI Report Server (May 2019) on SQL Server 2016 Build 13.0.5366.0. The operating system is Windows Server 2016 version 1+07 (OS Build 14393.3085). We are creating reports using Power BI optimized for Report Server (May 2019). We have a .NET MVC application and are embedding a Power BI report into a Razor page using the following iFrame tag: <iframe style="width:100%; height:400px;" src="http://samplereportserver/myreports/powerbi/env/thegreatreport?rs:embed=true" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen="true"></iframe> When the appliation tries to access the report, it gets asked for login credentials. The account accessing the report does have browser permissions to the report. It appears that the credentials are not being sent across. How can a report be embedded in this environment without having the user prompted for credentials? I see there is an embed option but it appears only available in the Power BI Service: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/easily-embed-secure-power-bi-reports-in-your-internal-portals-or-websites/ Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Cannot open jira billing reports
Everytime I try to open a billing report through jira I recieve the same error message. "Jiraissue DataSource.Error: Failed to find or load the registred Framework Data Provider.. This is a configuration issue with the file 'C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v.4.0.30319\Config\machine.config'. worklog Load was cancelled by an error in loading a previous table max_epic_worked_dt Load was cancelled by an error in loading a previous table" Please help! I need to view these reports...
