Hello Community, I’m encountering an issue with the Standard mode gateway in Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Service. I have two data sources — PostgreSQL and ClickHouse — connected successfully in Power BI Desktop. After publishing the report to the Power BI Service, I connected the workspace to the Standard mode gateway. However, the issue is that these two data sources do not appear under the “Gateway connection” section for scheduled refresh, even though the gateway is online and configured correctly. A few details about my setup: Gateway type: Standard mode Data sources: PostgreSQL and ClickHouse Connection status in Desktop: Successful Power BI Service issue: Data sources not visible for mapping under Gateway connection What works: Personal mode gateway connects and refreshes successfully Limitation: Since I have two different environments, I cannot rely on Personal mode gateway (as only one is allowed per tenant) Thank you for your time and guidance! Hello, has anyone encountered the same issue? My scheduled refreshes have stopped being executed after an upgrade to the jan 2024 PBI RS. It's not that they are failing, execution simply stopped since the upgrade date. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to solve it?Solved1.6KViews0likes6CommentsPowerBI Dahsboard Refresh Stuck on "Started Data Refresh" When Using Scheduled Refresh.
Hi Everyone, At our company we have PowerBI dashboards uploaded to a report server that have scheduled refresh schedules (Like once a day at 5:00 AM). The problem I am facing is that a new dashboard that's been created is not auto refreshing like expected. What seems to happen is the refresh will start at the correct time and the status column will indicate "Started Data Refresh" but it will never move beyond that and will never say "Completed Data Refresh" like the other dashboards. I can also confirm that the dashboard is not updated. However, when I manually go to initiate a refresh, everything will work as expected and afterwards it will say "Completed Data Refresh" To add more context, this dashboard is using a lot of data located in a sharepoint folder. The size of all the data is ~1.6 GB. Is the answer here that there is too much data and its stuggling to update the dashboard? Is there anything I can do apart from lowering the amount of data to ensure that there is no problem with the automated refresh? Thanks everyone.Solved1.6KViews0likes6CommentsScheduled Power BI report update on Power BI Report Server from TM1 source

I'm experiencing issues with the scheduled refresh on my Power BI dashboards. I have six published dashboards that have been running smoothly since January, but since last week, I've been encountering gateway errors. My gateway starts running at 12:10 AM, followed by a scheduled refresh at 1:30 AM. However, only one dashboard completes the refresh, while the others crash. Interestingly, I have another scheduled refresh at 1:30 PM, and this one runs without any problems. While reviewing the error logs, I found the following: DM.EnterpriseGateway Error: 1 : 2024-09-06T04:31:30.3353144Z DM.EnterpriseGateway [DM.NetworkCore] Non-gateway network exception encountered in activity scope: System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The socket connection has been disposed. This error occurred exactly when my dashboards were scheduled to refresh. Can anyone help me understand what's going on?1.1KViews0likes4CommentsPower BI Report Schedule Refresh Error
