I am trying to build a paginated report on Power Bi report builder. I have a valid stored procedure on my SqlServer DB. To keep the consistency of the design ( formatting, colors, text aligning) I created a copy of the existing report and deleted the dataset which was in it. And added my own dataset. Deleted the tablix column content from the existing report copy and filled the columns with my datasets columns. But when I run the report, it shows: " The hidden expression for the textbox 'Textbox11' has ascope parameter that is not valid for an aggregare function. The scope parameter must be set to a string constant that is equal to either the name of a containing group, the name of a containing data region, or the name of a dataset". Did anybody come accross this issue in the past? How could you solve it?915Views0likes2CommentsDM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError (Not like other post)
So I have multiple reports that pull from 1 or 2 MySQL databases, Most pull from the same database in which I get this error. The "table" at the end of the error varies. And this error is not constint, some days out of the 6 reports I get 1 or 2 of the reports that get this error message, some days I dont get any, and about 10 mins before this post I got all 6 (same error message minus the table at the end). Now If I go to power bi > data sources > and manually click the refresh I never get any errors, this only occurs randomly during the auto refreshes. I made sure my On-Premises Data Gateway is up-to-date and refreshed/restarted it. The MySQL connections are good with encription not enabled and under Orginization not public. This has been happening off and on for about a month now. I would normaly think it would be something on my end, but if it was I wouldnt be able to refresh it without errors via the power bi site or on the desktop editor as well. So Im sure its a odd setting somewhere, anyone have any ideas?Solved15KViews5likes19CommentsError uploading report on report server - Power BI version is optimized for Server
Hello all, I keep getting this error when uploading my report to the Power BI report server: "We're not able to upload this report. The report was created with a recent version of Power BI Desktop that is not yet supported by this server" I looked up this error; many solutions recommend having the latest Power version that is optimized for the Power BI server, which I already have and use. My current BI version is: 2.105.1143.0 32-bit (May 2022) Thanks 🙂Solved4.2KViews0likes2CommentsActualization Infinite
