We have encountered similar issues where the datamodel has been version controlled; however, report development on PBIX is to be undertaken by multiple users. Even if the PBIX file is hosted on the SharePoint, it is editable only in the local desktop version, thereby losing its shared functionality and losing out on the updates made by other users. Recommending Microsoft to look into this issue and enhance PBIX file capability where multiple users work on one file at the same time in their upcoming releases.

Re: PowerBI KPI Visual
Hello, I have faced similar issue using KPI visual. In the Target label section (Distance to goal), when style is selected to both (Value & Percentage), the decimal value is set to 0 on PBI Desktop, however when this is published to the PBI Webservice, decimal value is auto enhanced to 2 decimal places. Refer snapshots below. Highlighting to Microsoft for fixing and resolution.
