Analyze Feature isn't available when using extended x-axis
Hello, When I try to use "Analyse increase/decrease" feature, analyse feature is disabled. Only when I use it with single categorical x-axis, I can use that feature. I set up a hierarchy with Year2 - Half - Quarter - Month and checked sort by column in the modeling view. I think I must've missed some critical conditions to invoke the feature but couldn't find out yet. Could you please let me know how do I use the 'Analyse' feature when using multiple x-axis (all the items are in the same categories and in the same table) Many thanks,683Views0likes1CommentRe: Waterfall Chart using multiple measures
Hi, The only workaround I know is using R script (or Python) I followed the following article's instruction. (basically it's using ggplot2's rect function) https://analyticstraining.com/waterfall-charts-using-ggplot2-in-r/ I hope it helps25KViews1like1CommentHow to retain queried data?
Hi, When I save the report as pbix file in Power BI Desktop, it always lose queried data. If I open the saved file again, PBI says "There are pending changes in your queries that haven't been applied." Then if save the file again, the same behaviour is reproduced. Until desktop January version, I didn't experience this (now I'm using '18 August) How can I solve this problem?Solved2.2KViews0likes5CommentsRe: PBI Desktop problem when saving
Vicky_Song, v-qiuyu-msft Hi, my client is up-to-date with June 2018 version and I'm using 64 bit one. I think with the probability of 99%, the application fails to save contents properly. I tried save as but no luck; just creating another pbix file with no queried data Is there no evidence why I failed to save pbix file everytime in the log data?967Views0likes0CommentsPBI Desktop problem when saving
Hello, fellow members and staffs I'd like to ask a question related to PBI desktop saving feature. After Feb update, I've been suffering from this problem. The thing is, the desktop app can't save the queried data (when save as) or nothing happens when clicking the save button. The below screenshots are the capture of the trace log and I think it's related to cacheing or file I/O...
