Reports with Multiple Pages on Dashboard
Hello there. I am a newbie with Power BI and struggling to find an approach to display multipe report pages on something like a dashboard. I have six separate Power BI reports in six separate Power BI projects. I created the reports via this approach as it is my understanding that each report must have it's own project since the data sources for all six of the reports are different. The first thing I would like to know is whether or not that is true or if I can in fact use one project for multiple reports that all have different data sources. My next question is can I create a header page that will have six separate links to the different Power BI reports? If so, can you please provide some guidance as to how to do this? I have no idea. My goal is to create something similar to a dashboard with six labels or text boxes. Each label should be a link to the associated report. I would appreciate any/all assistance you may be able to provide. Thank you so much, PHSolved1.7KViews1like1CommentData Refresh
I am new to Power BI and am experiencing a few issues with my data. When I publish my report from the Power BI desktop to the service, I can see my report and my dataset in my workspace. I have the data tied to a SQL database and the data in the tables gets refreshed via SSIS on a regular basis. I am able to refresh the data in the data view in the desktop and republish it to the service but am not able to refresh it in the service. I can see the error below when try to refresh it fro within the service, but need help understanding what steps to take correct and schedule this. I would appreciate any help as I really have no idea why this isn't working.430Views0likes1CommentUnable to pin entire graph from Excel workbook to my Power BI dashboard
I have uploaded an Excel workbook to my Power BI workspace and when I select the range of cells to pin to my dashboard from a tab in the workbook, the entire range I selected is not being pinned. Only part of it is being pinned. Are there size limitations? Thanks so much, Peggy HSolved568Views0likes2Comments
