Has this been fixed? The workaround doesn't work if I have the custom data label in "Line y-axis" of Line and Stacked column chart. If the custom data label is part of the "Column y-axis" it's not an issue.

AnkitKukreja is yours working properly in PBI Service? The sample of migbenp is using stacked, and same with mine, Line and stacked column chart but also not working in PBI service.

Hi, Has this been resolved? I'm still encontering the issue when I use custome label, it doesn't show in the PBI Workspace. PBI Desktop: Version: 2.121.942.0 64-bit (September 2023)

Re: Place data labels outside bars in stacked bar charts
I was able to have a workaround on this. You need to use the Line and stacked column chart to do this. 1. You'll use the Line y-axis as the total value of your Column y-axis. Ex. - Column y-axis has Product-A and Product-B - Line y-axis Product-C (which is the sum of Product-A and Product-B) 2. Go to "Format your visual" > Lines > Stroke width > 0 px 3. Go to "Format your visual" > Markers > Shape > Type > "-" 4. Go to "Format your visual" > Markers > Shape > Size > 1 px 4. Go to "Format your visual" > Data Labels> Series > {Product-C} 5. Go to "Format your visual" > Data Labels> Position (line) > "Above" 5. Go to "Format your visual" > Data Labels> Values > Custom Label > "On", then drag the Product-C as the Field.
