Enable Personal Bookmarks for Embedded report for Azure App registration(Service Principal)
I have embedded Power BI reports into my company's website using PowerBI JavaScript Library. Authentication is happening using Azure App Registration, I have given UserState.ReadWrite.All permissions to it as sugested on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/javascript/api/overview/powerbi/personal-bookmarks, added personalBookmarksEnabled: true and made the bookmarks pane visible. It only shows Report Bookmaks on the pane. However when I'm loggen into app.powerbi.com with my microsoft account I can see both Report and Personal Bokmarks. Are there any other configuration is required to show personal bookmarks for Azure App Registrations?Re: Paginated Report Gateway Connection update using REST API
Hi Anonymous, Thank you for the reply. If there isn't any REST API for paginated reports what is the best way to update Gateway if I have over 100 reports? Are there any PowerShell scripts? Is there a way to update Gateway Connection datasource for paginated report using Power BI REST API? I can do this manually when logged into Power BI platform(screenshot below), but if I have over 100 reports and I need to change gateway connection data source for each report it will take a long time and can introduce human error. For Dashboard datasets I can do this using this REST API call: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/bind-to-gateway-in-group Is there something similar that can be used for Paginated reports?
