Our pro account got expired but capacity is still attached. Not able to access workspaces.
Hi All, We had a powerBI pro account with A1 capacity. The pro account payment was done through auto debit from client's card but 2 months before it got expired and the payment got due(our capacity is still working). We didn't got any notification regarding that and our embedded report was working fine in our application so we didn't checked. Now when we trying to access our workspace I am only able to access "My Workspace",accessing all other workspace prompting us to buy new pro license. Before renewing the card we asked microsoft support about this, they said like this "Per checking your account, the Power BI Pro Subscription under ******** profile is already in the deleted status and therefore cannot be reactivated. The only available workaround is to purchase a new order of Power BI Pro. With the previous order already deleted, this implies all associated data is already deleted. " NOTE: I want to continue the same account because all client data is in that workspace. QUESTIONS: Is there any way to continue the same account because we have so many reports in that workspace. If not, Is there a way to download all the reports from that workspace(embedded reports are still available in our application). If we start trail for the same account then can I access my workspace? Please suggest any ideas to recover from this situation. Thank you.Solved512Views0likes1CommentRe: Renaming multiple custom columns based on group id
Hi Thank you for replying. The given solution will not work as the customfields are already assigned in the matrix. The matrix visual will display error if the field name does not match. we cannot change the fields in the matrix every time. In the matrix all the customfields values are coming correctly but the column header won't change. I have another table for this dynamic header for the custom fields. The matrix have static fields,DAX measures and 8 dynamic custom field that can change according to group. Solution needed for changing custom fields header name according to the groupID in a matrix/table. Thanks1.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Creating report with Dynamic fields
Hi danextian Thnaks a lot for your solutions. This helps us to move further. But we are facing issue while changing the Names list value. Please see below scenario Names list: Initially we have mapped names like below Custom1: Gender Custom2: Email Custom3: Country with this list we have creted Table Visual and it is working perfect. Now to simulate the same report for another Client, We have changed the List value (Email to EmailAddress) Custom1: Gender Custom2: EmailAddress Custom3: Country When we close and apply, we are getting below error in Table visual. Basically we are using Embedded Report in our report for all our clients. based on the client Names list will change. Please guide us on this.1.1KViews0likes1CommentCreating report with Dynamic fields
Hi, Our application is a multi tenancy web app and we are using Custom fields for User table based on the client. Each client can have upto 8 custom fields in which they can define the name for that custom fields. So in In reports (table or matrix) we would like to display the custom field value in header. Please find our use case below. Columns which are marked in Blue color are static columns. Please help us to resolve this issue. Hi I have to show table/matrix with more than 30 fields where 8 of them are custom fields. These custom fields names are customfield1,customfield2,customfield3,.....,customfield8. These fields are created by group admin according to their requirements so the number of custom fields they create will be different(max 8 fields) and the field names also. I am getting all the values of custom fields from the customfields1,2,...8 columns. Headers for custom fields should be dynamic based on the groupid For that i have another table(CF Table) with following columns orderid(upto 8),groupid,userid,fieldname,fieldvalue. This is an embedded report, so that the viewers will only get to see the data of one group which is their own. The orderid 1 to 8 represents the customfield1 to customfield8 and buid is the groupid. The values of the custom fields are available in both table but the header name is only available in CF Table. I want to rename the custom fields1 to 8 to their respective field name based on the groupid. Thank you.1.4KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Hide save option in embedded report edit mode.

Hi, We have single Power BI Pro license. We are using Power BI embeded report in our application. We are using Azure SQL Server as our data source and we are using single workspace and we have around 50 reports. There are 500+ users are using this embeded reports. Users may change their report layout and save those as My Report. PowerBI says there is a data limitation upto 10 GB. Free & Pro accounts A Free or Pro account provides workspace size limit of 10 GB per workspace, 10 GB per user, and 1 GB size limit per dataset. Let’s try to understand this in a bit of detail. Due to this will there any impact on space or Single PowerBI Pro license will be enough for this. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards MadhanSolved760Views0likes1Comment
