Re: PowerBI Dashboard Tile Refresh
Thank you GilbertQ , that would explain one part of the issue. Do you have any idea why the visual stopped refreshing until we move the mouse, we need a very small movement, no click, we are now moving the mouse with a power shell script. It uses to refresh automatically. I republished the report, create a new dashboard and tested it on multiple PC and same result. It seems like it's now missing a screen refresh command action or something like that. When we move the mouse it so quick to it, everything seems to be already in cache. Hello, for the past few months we have a dashboard that is running on a large screen for our pickup counter and every 30s it gets updated with the last data and customers could follow their order progression. It's a report with the Auto Refresh Page set to 30s that is pining to a Dasboard. Since Wednesday (2023-02-08) this week, it stopped running every 30s and seems to be limited to a minimum of 5 minutes. We are all pro-users and only pro-license options were activated. Did something change in the licensing to prevent us from refreshing a Dasboard every 30s with a PRO license ? I still can see the query running every 30s in SQL Profiler. I subscribed to a premium trial, create a workspace (premium per user) I set the capacity for premium per user to 30s. So now it seems to run every 30s , but it needs a mouse over for the visual to refresh. No click just a small mouse move. We built a PowerShell to slight move the mouse every 30s so the screen gets updated. But it makes no sense. My question is, is there anything that changed for my dashboard to stop refreshing like it was doing for the last 6 months. If we need a premium license, is there a way the visual gets updated without using mouse movement or a browser extension to reload the tab. Finally , is there anything else we should look at ? Thanks for your help852Views0likes3Comments
