Perder la jerarquía de fechas con DirectQuery pero con la importación funciona
Hola En uno de los ejercicios, estaba conectado a la base de datos de MS SQL Server mediante DirectQuery. Una de las columnas denominada "TransactionDate", aunque establecida como tipo de datos DateTime en la tabla de origen y tipo de datos Date en el modelo PowerBI, no mostraba Jerarquía. En otra pregunta se ha resaltado que esto sucede debido a la asignación a otras tablas en la columna de fecha, así que lo comprobé también: Tan pronto como cambié la conexión para importarla comenzó a mostrar la Jerarquía: Estoy buscando la posible razón para este beahvior y una solución de este maravilloso complejo. Hi, In one of the exercise I was connected to the MS SQL Server DB using DirectQuery. One of the column named "TransactionDate", although set as DateTime data type in the source table and Date data type in PowerBI model, was not showing Hierarchy. In other question it has been highlighted that this happens due to the mapping to other tables on the date column, so I checked that as well: As soon as I changed the connection to import it started showing the Hierarchy: I am looking for for the possible reason for this beahvior and a solution from this wonderful community.
