I was an Excel geek and really pushed the pivot tables. I then needed to calculate a median value but couldn't do it with just Excel. Searching for help I found DAX for Excel, which led me to a Power BI group elsewhere in my company. I seldom use Excel anymore for anything more than pasting a table of data and formatting it for consumption.
