Re: Epic idea: New card visual
I have just created an invoice for a client. Using cards was the best way to layout single values that appear under my table of line items eg. Sub total, less marketing costs, grand total, Account number, account code. But the lack of alignment means it looks a bit second rate.2.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: 'Hidden' column header appears when printing
I figured this out. When you print, you have to click on 'More Settings' and check 'Background graphics'. This then applies a lot of the custom formatting you have done to components but it also applies the change you made to the heading text colour. I will log an idea to be able to set the alignment for cards though as I still think this would be very useful and a better solution in terms of using the correct component.2.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: 'Hidden' column header appears when printing
Thanks for your reply Anonymous. I will log it. Worth noting that it does the same thing using the non preview version of Table. Im going to have to use cards for now so that the printing is fine but my alignment is going to be off. Have tried to think about redesigning the report and keeping the headers in but a) I end up wasting canvas space b) its just not as readable. *for anyone thinking "why you still printing reports, thats so 1990?". Im printing to PDF to save as a digital version.1.9KViews0likes1Comment'Hidden' column header appears when printing
I am using the Table (preview) with one column and one row to show a single value on my report (its an invoice). I have set the column header text colour to be the same as the background so all that is visible is the value. But when I print the report the column header text colour appears to be reverting to the default colour and you can see the text. I cant use cards and hide the category label (which prints fine) as cards dont allow you to align the text within it. ie. I have a number of these values that all have to be right or left aligned under each other (sub total, plus marketing fees, grand total). Cards seem to centre the value within them. Any ideas please?Solved1.9KViews0likes3CommentsRe: OData refresh issue with Dynamic CRM Online
This is the exact issue I am facing although we are not connecting to any on prem data. Just to an Azure SQL Database. It works fine in the desktop version but as soon as we publish it to our PowerBI portal and refresh it, it throws this error: Data source error: The credentials provided for the OData source are invalid. However, we then created a single dataset that pulled the top 100 contacts from CRM. Worked fine in Desktop version, published fine and refreshed fine in the portal. So its not a credential issue. We then went back to the original workbook and limited the big datasets to 100 records....again, it all worked find in Desktop and when we published to the portal and refreshed. But as soon as we remove the restriction on the rows and the full workbook is refreshed it throws the above error. At a loss as to whether its a timeout issue or too much data...even though the error message indicates credentials.2.7KViews0likes0Comments
