Report Sever hosted on AWS
Hi team, My customer is asking to host PBI Report Server on AWS (VMs) instead of an On-Premises Server. Reviewing PBI Server Report install requirements, I can see that is necessary to have a Windows Server for PBI Report Server and a Windows Server for SQL. Having this in mind, I think that is perfectly possible to install it on an AWS VMs...so, my questions are..... 1. Is this possible? 2. Any success case with this subject? 3. Additional considerations? Thank you.603Views0likes0CommentsPower BI On-Prem Gateway
Hi Team, I have the following scenario: On-Prem Server “A” On-Prem Server “B” “A” has a SQL Server instance. “B” has a SQL Server Instance. “A” and “B” can reach each other Data Bases, e.g., with SQL Server Management Studio running in “A”, is possible to connect to a DB in “B”. I’ve installed On-Prem Power BI Gateway on “A” and I can successfully connect to DB in “A” from Power BI service…I want to connect to “B” form Power BI service too…but I’ve received a communication error message. Just to confirm, I think I have to install Gateway on “B” too…is that true? Or is there another solution, e.g, cluster gateway? Thank you in advance,Solved1.1KViews0likes2Comments
