Conditionally/Dynamically assign Bookmarks to Buttons
Extend the Conditional expression for the Action property of the Button to dynamically assign bookmarks based on user roles (effective username) or user selection (selected slicer value). Enable adding and removing columns in table or matrix visual. This is a must needed feature, most of the clients used to other reporting system looking for this feature as this enables user to select a defined hierarchy or set of attributes and choose what level of information is needed in run-time. Also improve the self service experience of Power BI to next level. We are aware the run time selection of attributes feature is coming up but not sure if that is planned for matrix and table with dynamic column and measure selection. Please add. If the position and size of the visuals can be a part of Bookmark, then it will be next level for the UI authoring experience . This is quite similar to the SSRS table inside a List visual with Group, so that the table will be generated for each group/category. The Info graphic visual is a great one which address this issue but not fully. This will be a great use case for the drill through scenarios. Country --> State Where state wise Tables are generated only for the drilled country. Slicers filter the data of other visuals or for the whole page depens on the interactions enabled . But while using multiple slicers (interactions enabled for interactions visuals in the only second half of the same page) for some slicers we dont want to show certain values , but need to show on some other visual in the upper half of teh page (so a page level; filter is not helpful here). As of now only one column value can be passed in the drill through action. If we need to pass country and state value to the drill through page currently this is not feasible. How do I expect this feature ? As of now the context of drill through is set to single value. For example from a table one row value only can be passed to the drill through filter of other page.
